The yoga I teach was co-created by Professor Bessel Van der Kolk- the world's leading trauma psychiatrist.

Bessel has written the international best selling book "The Body Keeps the Score." If you have not read it, please do. 🙏

Although my yoga classes are NOT spiritual, or as I like to call it "Woo Woo", I am a spiritual person.

I purposely have a large mandala tattoo on my left shoulder/collar bone so I am forced not to hide this side of myself.

This man is a neurologist (a doctor who specialises is the nervous system) as well as a psychiatrist (a doctor who specialises in mental health). He is also spiritual- hence the name of his page is 'The Spiritual Psychiatrist Podcast'.

Therefore, I feel im including all my followers when I use Dr Samuel B. Lee.

GLIMMERS...

Life can be tough.
Life can be unfair, and,
Life can just be cruel.

So it’s so important to look for the glimmers in each and every day.

Like the saying goes: "When you have your health, you have many problems. When you dont have your health, you only have one problem."

This morning I was privileged to teach another yoga class which I honestly love.

I was met with one yogi with a bag full of freshly picked oranges from his tree (no pesticides!) And another yogi with freshly home made jam and German bread.

I then went to the shops were i literally ran into my dear and beautiful friend, Bill. We did our grocery shopping together.

To then come home, to cut up a beautiful pumpkin that another yogi passed on to me from Boddington, whilst enjoying the yummy German bread and jam with my youngest son.

My youngest who is learning German at school said to me "Mum, I have had this before...when we went to Germany for the Invictus Games. You went and did your washing whilst Matty and I went to the cafe and had German bread and a ginger beer...yep, still tastes the same as it did in 2023!"

Funny how he can remember that from when he was 6, but can't remember me telling him to get out of his school uniform! 🤔😂
