🎶Singing together reminds us we belong✨
🤗
Through kirtan, Sanskrit mantra choir, and 1:1 voice work, we explore sound, meaning, and shared breath- a gentle return to connection and community. 🎶💛
Music has always been a quiet bridge between people. Before conversation, before explanation, there was sound — and the simple human instinct to join in. 🪷
If meditation feels hard, this is another doorway in. 🧘‍♀️🪷🧘‍♂️🧘
I’ll be sharing more in the coming weeks about what’s unfolding for 2026💛

Happy New Year 💛

On my daily forest walks, I find myself completely absorbed, one moment it’s in birdsong, the next I’m lost in the glittering light hitting the leaves of the trees… the next I’m in deep conversation with my forest friends who mostly I don’t even know their names but whom I love dearly!
So present that time seems to fall away.
I can’t stop thinking about this!
So often in meditation we’re told we are not the mind, not the body.
But what if we are?
What if the body is not an obstacle, but a gateway?
What if the senses are sacred instruments?

I love following a sound until it seems to disappear,
and yet lingers on for eternity✨
the unstruck sound, anāhata💓

So often people say, “I can’t meditate.”
But maybe it doesn’t need to be so hard!

What lights you up?
What tickles your fancy?

Maybe it’s gazing at a photo of someone you love.
Maybe it’s singing your favourite song.
Maybe it’s savouring the first bite of a meal you’ve been looking forward to.
Maybe it’s listening- really listening to a sound until it fades.

Leave nothing out.
Be absorbed.
Lose yourself.
And find yourSELF🧘‍♀️

Happy New Year ✨

After all the sparkle ✨ and celebration of the last month, my body is a little stiff and a little slow, how about yours?
Wrists, feet, shoulders, toes- small, loving movements, waking the currents back up.
Come home to yourself, one breath at a time🙏👍🧘‍♀️🙌

🛶 🪑 Chair to Boat looks simple.
It’s a trap! 💫

This week in a online class we played with a Chair → Boat → Chair sequence and I love love loved it… even though it feels slightly unhinged🤣 thanks Bradshaw😘💓

I’ve been practising it every day, trying to get in and out of boat without capsizing🫠 you can see my legs shake, my arms and abs are saying helloooooo, and I’m definitely not great at it😅

But yoga starts exactly where we are.
We stay with it. We build strength. We don’t wait to be perfect.

Maybe I’ll post this again in a few weeks, when my boat finds calmer waters 🌊

🪷This song is a gentle remembering.
Ādi Śaṅkarācārya’s invitation to turn the heart back toward what is true 🙏with tenderness, with humility, with love💛

This Christmas week, my heart goes out to all those affected by the violence at a Hanukkah gathering in NSW.
An event meant to honour light and faith, now held in grief.
May all who are hurting be wrapped in care and compassion.
Moments like this remind us how precious life is.
How quietly sacred each breath is.
How love is always the path home.

This song is my offering🪷🙏💛

✨Mūḍhamate✨ remember now. There is no time to waste✨Find light in the darkness✨

It’s beginning to look a lot like Michael Bublé and Mariah Carey are coming to town❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️

✨Hellloooo!!!✨
I haven’t been on here much lately-I’ve been deep in practice, chanting the Narayana Suktam, where Narayana is the all-pervading, the transcendent One beyond everything we think we know.

And then… Nala wandered through my video mid-mantra, tail wagging like she too had achieved liberation 😂
It felt perfect…the infinite and the ordinary meeting in one moment.
Sacred sound, a passing dog, and I couldn’t help but laugh at the sweetness of it all.

After finishing the 40day Sadhana I’ll be back to share more of this Suktam soon
For now- Narayana… boundless, beyond, and right here in my backyard🙏💛🐕

✨✈️ As I slowly pack my things after nine days on the South Coast of NSW — family close, a quiet little village held between the mountains and the wide, breathing ocean — this mantra came to me:

✨om prāṇo devī sarasvatī vājebhir vājinīvatī dhīnāṃ avitry avatu✨
“Om, may the divine Goddess Sarasvatī — who grants nourishment, strength, and inspired flow — protect and support our wisdom, our insight, and our understanding.”

A prayer from the Rig Veda.
A mantra Ive returned to daily since I arrived.
And a reminder of the Goddess I quietly worship through music, study, and devotion — Sarasvatī, the one who guides my voice, my creativity, and the deeper truth beneath everything.

Each morning here, I walked the beach carrying the same inner tension:
feeling pulled toward something I thought I should be doing…
while my whole heart wished only to teach music, to sing, to offer what feels most natural and alive in me.

And then yesterday, everything softened.
What I thought I was meant to pursue simply fell away — gently and completely — taken out of my hands. Isn’t it funny how that happens?
And in the space that opened, the truth was right there. Something I keep coming back to…

A space to open your voice,
strengthen your sound,
and reconnect with the music that is already inside you.

In my own way, this path is my offering to Saraswati —
my worship, my practice, my way of honouring the flow she gives so freely.

I love teaching yoga and will continue to do so but…
I’m listening now.
And I’m following the music🎶
