Pindari House Pindari - a long term residential program for men struggling with addiction & other life issues. A pathway to HOPE!

At Pindari Restoration House, we aim to transform men in need into people who understand themselves, their value and achievement, and who can live a fullness of life with a stronger connection with God. To achieve this transformation, our residential program provides restorative support, counseling, and life skills in a family-centered and therapeutic environment over 12 months.

Every Wednesday evening, our residents roll up their sleeves at the St Vinnies Community Meal, lending a hand to people experiencing homelessness and others in need. Volunteering is such an important part of their journey—giving back, connecting with others, and making a real difference.

This weekend, our residents got to attend a special “volunteer night”! Residents hung out around the fire, laughed, shared stories, and built even stronger bonds with the amazing St Vinnies volunteer team. 💛

It’s moments like these that show the power of community, support, and connection. A huge thank you to St Vinnies and the Champion Project for making it all happen!

🌿 A Busy and Encouraging Few Weeks at Pindari! 🌿

These past weeks have been full of growth and milestones for our Pindari community:
✔️ Residents enjoyed an uplifting men’s camp
🎉 We celebrated a special 40th Birthday – congratulations Brendan!
🤝 Pindari took part in the Armadale Careers Expo
🌱 Our residents worked hard restoring gardens
💛 We welcomed a new intake into the program to be at capacity again
📖 There’s been plenty of teaching, counselling and support happening every day
🙏 We attended the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast – a big thank you to the Governor for the mention and public recognition
🏃 We also held a fundraiser at Soul Runners – a big thank you for having us!

Lives are being restored in every aspect of the program — and we’re proud of the brave effort our residents continue to put in as they change their lives. 🙌

🤝 We’re grateful to have been part of this important conversation alongside Armadale District - WA Police Force, Centrecare Inc , Entrypoint and Homelessness We Care Serpentine Jarrahdale and Surrounds Program.

At Pindari House, we believe that meaningful change happens when services work together — and we’re committed to playing our part in supporting those experiencing homelessness, addiction, and crisis.

At the Annual Pindari Breakfast, Peter Jenner (Therapeutic Manager) took us inside the heart of Pindari House program and spoke about what makes our program different, why it works, and how your support is literally transforming lives.

Peter shared that Pindari offers an intensive program addressing the root causes of addiction addressing trauma, pain and broken identity. He spoke of the 76 Intensive modules and group sessions that we run, teaching participants how to face many of the issues that arise in day-to-day life

He spoke about how we provide spiritual nurture for those who want it, opportunities to build new healthy community and support to sustain change and a long-term focus to aid healing and reintegration.

🚨 We're Hiring: Male Property Leader (Live-In Support Role – Flexible Hours) 🚨

Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? Do you have lived experience or have worked in rehab environments? We’re looking for a male Property Leader to join our team and help support residents on their recovery journey.

This role is ideal for men who are:
✔️ Working part-time or full-time
✔️ Studying (either part-time or full-time)
✔️ Looking for a meaningful way to give back while managing other commitments

What You’ll Be Doing:
🕔 Be onsite from 5pm–8am weekdays, and all day Saturday & Sunday – but hours are negotiable to fit around work or study
🔁 Work a 1 week on, 2 weeks off roster with 2 other Property Leaders
🏠 Spend evenings with residents (until 10pm), sleep in private onsite accommodation, and be there for a warm morning presence (7am–8am – negotiable)
💬 Support House Leaders, set boundaries, and be a stable, encouraging presence

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Male applicants only (due to the nature of the residential environment)
✔️ Lived experience or prior work in rehab (ideally both)
✔️ Strong leadership, empathy, and a heart for transformation

What We Offer:
💰 Paid hourly
🏡 Optional full-time shared accommodation at a reduced rate
🍽️ Meals, snacks & drinks provided while on shift
💙 Join a mission-driven team transforming lives
🎓 Full training and ongoing leadership support

Pindari is grateful for the work of The Fathering Project and their dedication to building stronger, healthier families.

We’ve recently had the privilege of attending their Father Group Teachings — an experience that has taught our residents a lot about being a good father and leader. We’re thankful for this growing partnership and the positive impact it’s having on the lives we support.

Together, we’re helping fathers lead with purpose. 💙

(p.s. the chairs are more comfortable than they look 😉)
