I never believed this until I created space in my life. When I said 'No' to certain events, actions, people, places and things, I said yes to me fully. I opened up vacancy for more. And then it all flowed in effortlessly. Not how I imagined. It was better! More love, peace, kindness, opportunities in alignment with my inner being. All the things!

It’s 4 weeks post-surgery and all that I have integrated into my healing is finally showing me the enormous healing potential of my body!

I never estimated how this type of surgery could impact my physical, emotional & spiritual well-being. I wanted to go fast when my body wanted to rest. I wanted to do things that my previous self could do. I was impatient and ended up with a mini set back. It was a lesson in listening to self.

All the natural remedies, incredible nutrition, supplements, treatments and gentle movement, after 4 weeks have shown up in the most positive way.

I am feeling like a little light has come on and hope is my closest friend again. Today, I am grateful for my body, for she is the vessel that will carry me into this next phase.

I will treat her gentle kindness and find pleasure in all the things she can do.

ARE SKIN ISSUES LINKED TO PERIMENOPAUSE?

Considering skin health during perimenopause is crucial because this transitional phase brings significant hormonal changes that can affect the skin in various ways. Some of the reasons why it's essential to focus on skin health during perimenopause include:

1. Hormonal fluctuations: During perimenopause, there are fluctuations in estrogen and progesterone levels, which can lead to reduced collagen production. Collagen is responsible for maintaining skin elasticity, and its decline can result in wrinkles and sagging skin. So if you feel you’re skin is lagging, eat an estrogen forming diet and find a reputable collagen that works!

2. Dryness and dehydration: Hormonal changes can also cause decreased oil production, leading to dry and dehydrated skin. This can exacerbate fine lines and make the skin appear dull and lackluster. Without moisture in the skin, skin health declines and exposes any underlying issues.

3. Increased skin sensitivity: Some women may experience increased skin sensitivity during perimenopause, making their skin more prone to irritation and redness. This is simply lack of collagen and moisture to the extremity of your body. It’s crying out for nourishment. Drink loads of water & take a good range of supplements for skin health.

4. Age spots and hyperpigmentation: Hormonal imbalances can trigger the development of age spots and hyperpigmentation, making the skin tone uneven. Wear a hat, use quality skin care and sunscreen. Eat loads of micronutrient-dense foods.

5. Sun damage: Over time, cumulative sun exposure can result in photodamage, and during perimenopause, the skin's ability to repair itself from sun-induced damage may decrease. You can reverse some of the damage. Eat well. Drink water. Supplement correctly. Use natural skin care solutions.

I STILL BELIEVE A SYSTEMIC OVERGROWTH OF CANDIDA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MANY UNDERLYING HEALTH CONCERNS!

If you’ve ever been affected by severe bloating, diarrhoea or constipation, check for a Candida overgrowth .

If you’ve ever suffered with ongoing anxiety or depression, check for a Candida overgrowth.

If you’ve suffered with urinary tract infections and or bladder infections, check for a Candida overgrowth.

If you’ve ever had repeat bouts of chest or throat infections, bronchitis or tonsillitis, check for a Candida overgrowth.

If you’ve been diagnosed with PCOS, one of the underlying issues may well be a systemic Candida overgrowth.

If you’ve ever had a more than one of these symptoms, it could be an overgrowth of Candida:

Even though, I have moved away from coaching women through a Candida journey, I find that many people are still coming to me with a plethora of these such symptoms.

I also see that Menopause & Candida don’t play nicely. Women that haven’t got their health in check before Perimenopause sets in, have horrendous symptoms.

Please know this doesn’t have to be the case. There are protocols that can be applied to minimise these such symptoms. Fasting, saunas, a good diet and correct supplementation truly do work!

And then there is the psychosomatics of those that suffer with Candida. It’s not talked about publicly. It’s somewhat shameful for women. It’s a big shift that most women need to make. I had to and it worked!

I am writing this today to say I see you. I understand what you’re going through and there is a way through it!

I have learnt so much about Menopause and it’s symptoms…….

It’s important to note that there are 4 types of Menopause that come from 3 main areas of disfunction.

What I see mostly, is when gut, lymphatic or liver is off-kilter, we see a set of symptoms that are related to these 4 areas.

My new program goes through all of this and helps women to navigate next steps.
