Starting 1st May, join us in the garden for playful, hands-on sessions designed for children 5 and under.

Little ones can explore sensory play, messy creations, movement, nature-based activities, and open-ended creative time. Parents can either join in or relax with a hot drink.
All sessions are created and guided by Erin, an experienced early years educator.

A space to get curious, move freely, and connect with other families while the kids play.

Gather & Grow begins on Monday the 4th of May! Getting a term ticket means getting to know other parents and having a familiar weekly activity in nature for you and your baby. If you miss a session there will be a make up session at the end 💚

💚💚💚This is a very special Mother's Day event for Workshop Week at Ellis House 💚💚💚

Clay play is great for all ages. It offers a calming sensory experience, strengthens hand muscles, and encourages patience and concentration by allowing open-ended, hands-on creation.

Designed for children 5-10 (but younger and older are totally fine) and their special mum like person. Extra children or adults can come too with an add on ticket.

There will be a drink and biscuits with every ticket and take home gloss to apply once the clay is dry.

Today families gathered the garden for an Easter Friday pop-up and then a SpOoKy 5th birthday party in the afternoon! 🎃🐰💀🐥

A lot of play, mess and fun was had and it was a beautiful Autumn Day!

This is a special all ages session at Ellis House. One ticket is $25 and siblings are $14 each. It will go for longer than a normal session as I have so much planned!

There will be an egg (non choc) hunt, cocoa potions, lots of taste-safe sensory play for little ones, craft for big and small, an Easter storytime, soft play and mural painting.

Creative messy fun while connecting with other families and with nature in a shady garden. Need I say more?

I absolutely love this community that's developing in this garden... I could honestly spend the whole day chatting, refilling water and paint and observing what children are noticing and learning. 🌿💚

We’re halfway through the term and my brain is already filling up with ideas for the holidays and next term. But don't worry - I am also so excited and constantly planning for the next 4 weeks!! One can live in the moment AND plan - right?

What matters most to me in these sessions is making space for kids to play freely. Getting messy, trying things that feel a bit risky, figuring out turn-taking with other children, and noticing what’s around them in the natural environment.

Something that's also VERY important is holding space for the parents as they connect or step back and observe their kids play while chatting and also benefiting from being in nature.

Thank you so much to everyone who has come to a session so far - it means the world to me. Erin 💚
