Josh Moyo Ministries Destiny Empowered *Dr Josh Moyo Bio*

Apostle Dr Josh Moyo is the Senior Pastor of the Destiny Empowered Christian Church in Perth, Western Australia.

He was Born and raised in Shabane, Zimbabwe to Christian parents. Ps Josh answered the call of God upon his life at a young age, receiving salvation at 11 years under Christ for all Nations (Reinhardt Bonke Revivals in Africa.) His ministry training began at Rhema Bible College in Harare in 1989, where he acquired his first diploma in Charismatic studies. He furthered his biblical studies with Oral Roberts Seminary, acquiring a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology. He also graduated from Team Impact International Institute with a degree in Apostolic Ministry and an Honours Bachelors degree in Ministry and a Masters in Theology in Perth Western Australia. In May 2019 Ps Josh received an honorary doctorate in Theology from The American Bible University. He is the author of "Making of a Champion", a book which has been integrated as part of the curriculum in the Destiny Bible College in Japan, a charismatic bible college which he opened in 2019. He is a father, pastor, preacher, marriage counselor and motivational speaker who travels round the world influencing many lives to live out their God given Destiny. Business Leadership forums, Pastoral Seminars, university student workshops and church congregations, draw a lot from his teachings. Dr Josh Moyo is happily married to Sherley, and they are proud parents to Sharon and Josh Jnr, who are both serving God in Perth, Western Australia.

Today we celebrate our Apostle!! — a son, a brother, a friend, a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, a wise mentor, and a true servant of God.

Apostle, you are more than a man of God — you are a father of the faith, raising, guiding, and strengthening countless lives through your obedience, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the call of God.

Your life is a testimony of faith in action. Through every season, you have stood firm, led boldly, loved deeply, and served faithfully. The impact of your ministry echoes across generations, and the seeds you have sown continue to bear lasting fruit.

Today, we honour you, we celebrate you, and we thank God for your life.
May this new year be filled with greater grace, deeper encounters, strengthened joy, and multiplied influence. May the Lord continue to establish the work of your hands and enlarge your territory.

Day 3: Excuse 3 - It's Raining

Acts 28:2

When we think of rain, we think of running for shelter, we think of uncomfortable, cold conditions. There's even a saying, "Don't get caught out in the rain."

But in the context of seedtime and harvest, rain is a good thing, an important thing best understood by those who have planted seeds in the ground.

In one context, a reason to run for cover, in another, a welcome catalyst to growth, and progress.

Even its currently raining in your life, don't let that be the reason that everything comes a standstill in your life.

There is still good that God can do when it's raining.

Day 2: Excuse Number 2: I've been Shipwrecked!

Acts 27:44

For many of us, when things are falling apart, our first instinct is to frantically try to hold things together. We try, usually in our own strength, to preserve what is familiar. But what if the wreckage is part of God's rescue plan? What is total collapse is the best way to rebuild what we've lost - from the ground up?

Like those shipwrecked, who jumped onto parts of their broken ship and got to safety, could it be that the Lord is saying to you today, "Give me all the broken pieces of 2025, so I can fashion for you a better 2026."

I'm praying for you, surrender to God today, and trust Him with the broken pieces of your life and watch Him create a masterful rescue plan!
