You do not need to earn you food
You do not need to workout to burn off your food

You should exercise to feel fitter, stronger, more energised, less stressed, happier, feel healthier and just overall better in yourself.

Love to hear your thoughts on this, do you still feel the need to earn your food?

One of the reasons I care so much about helping women see food as just food is because I know what it’s like to grow up thinking certain foods made you “bad,” feeling guilt before the first bite was even had.

That mindset can steals joy, fuels shame, and can follow you around for decades.

Food freedom isn’t about just eating whatever you want all the time with zero consideration for the nutrients.

It’s about being able to enjoy a slice of birthday cake, an ice cream at the park, or hot chips at the beach without spiralling into “I’ll start again Monday.”

It’s about showing your kids that same freedom so they grow up with a healthy, happy relationship with food with falling in the diet culture message we did.

If you want to ditch the all-or-nothing thinking, build habits that actually fit your life, and model a healthy approach for the little people watching you most.

Come and join our next round of thrive in 6 - we start on Monday!

It’s not more knowledge you need.

You’re brain is overloaded with fitness and health knowledge - what you need is more action

Often we know what we need to do but we can’t seem to put those habits into practice.

This what a coach can help you do.
Support, motivate, encourage you so that when you feel like giving up on yourself you have someone in your corner telling you NO! And supporting you to move towards your goal.

I’ll help you shift through those all the noise so you can focus on the habits that are actually going to move the needle forward.

If you are ready to take action come join next round of Thrive in 6 starting on Monday.

Story time. I think people wrongly assume that people within the fitness industry all must have positive relationships with exercise and food…wrong.

The health and fitness industry has such a large portion of people who have terrible relationships with with exercise and food, exercise to burn calories, follow binge/ restrict cycles around food and sadly also have millions of followers who follow advice from them because as a society we think if someone looks in shape they must know what to do and be healthy.

I openly share with my clients that I have had a terrible relationship with food and exercise in the past and many years ago before I entered the fitness industry professionally I actually had to stop going to the gym, and stop weight training completely because I didn’t know how to not exercise from a place of punishment.

I see it all the time people exercising purely for aesthetic reasons and then wondering why they keep losing motivation.
Instead we should be encouraging exercise to FEEL better, to celebrate what our body can do, to manage our stress, improve our mood, energy and allow us to actually LIVE better.

I think if more of us can view exercise from this mindset we would find it far easier to keep in as part of our lifestyle and not a chore we have to do. 🩷

As humans, we are exceptionally skilled at focusing on what didn’t go well.
What we didn’t achieve.
What wasn’t “perfect.”
And when we’re trying to make changes to our health, this mindset can completely derail us.
Every time you zero in on what you didn’t do, you start beating yourself up.
You tell yourself it’s not worth it.
You stop trying.
And the cycle repeats. If you are ready for a different approach to your health that gives you a little more kindness and compassion come and join the next round of thrive in 6 - we KICK off next Monday 18th. DM me the word THRIVE for more info. 💪🏻

Want to build a habit?Forget perfection.Forget needing an hour. What matters most?Consistency.Little actions done often beat sporadic bursts of all-or-nothing every time.Whether it’s exercise, reading, journaling whatever you’re trying to do — doing something regularly is what makes it stick.Even if it’s 5–10 minutes exercise while the kids nap, between housework, or in your PJs before bed is enough.(you don’t even need to change into activewear. The fewer barriers, the better.)This is how habits are built. Not by waiting for the perfect time but by finding moments in the mess.So stop thinking it’s not worth it unless it’s long, sweaty or structured.Show up. Do a little. That’s what moves the needle.Ready to learn how to take imperfect action and build habits that stick comment YES below 💪🏼

Good health and feeling your best isn’t about nailing your health habits every day with zero room for error.

Good health is not built from one days of action, one meal, one workout but from an accumulation of the habits we do every day and over time.

It’s about learning to keep taking action (however small) - even when the day feels chaotic, messy, or off track.

Lower the bar, but increase your consistency.
One ‘bad day’, ‘bad meal’ didn’t ruin anything.
It’s called being a human.

You’re doing your best.
Some days you will have more to give that others and that’s always enough.🩷

Are we getting caught up focusing on the wrong things? There’s so much noise online about what to avoid. People walking up and down supermarkets fearing mongering is. ❌ Seed oils❌ Additives❌ Processed foods❌ “Toxins”With a large proportion of society still not hitting the basics recommendations of 150 minutes of exercise a week, I feel we’re getting swept up in fear around food instead of using this time to actually focus on the thing that’s more beneficial to your health - exercise.Yes, of course we don’t want to be living on ultra-processed foods every day. But if you’re spending hours in the kitchen making everything from scratch in fear of additives and not finding time to move your body we’ve kind of missed the point.💥 Exercise is one of the most powerful things we can do for our health. It helps with stress, sleep, energy, confidence, mood, strength, and your overall longevityStart small if you need to.10 minutes a day.A few squats at home with some dumbbells.A walk around the block with the pram.Something is always better than nothing. And all these “little” things? They really add up.Start with wherever you are in the most imperfect way - I would love to stop overcomplicating health and get back to what actually moves the needle. What a simplified approach to your health? When did caring for your basic human needs become something to feel guilty about?

We’re not talking about frequent luxury spa days and solo weekend trips away.
We’re talking about taking time for exercise, to eat nourishing foods, movement, fresh air, energy, sanity — the stuff our body needs to function optimally.

You don’t hear dads saying,
“I shouldn’t work out today, I’ve got dad guilt.”
So why is it different for mums?

Yes, your kids, like mine might be “bored” for 30 minutes, but all the times you prioritise your health you are actually modelling to them how their too prioritise and care for theirs, and personally I feel that’s one of the most valuable lessons they can learn.

So stop apologising for wanting to feel good.
You’re not selfish — you’re human. Hit save and share with a mum friend who may need this reminder. 🩷
