With the end of any personal challenge it’s time to think about the big question: Where to from here?

💡 A few ways to move forward from Clean July are:
✅ Keep going alcohol-free if you’re loving the benefits
✅ Reintroduce drinking slowly and mindfully
✅ Set personal rules (e.g. no midweek drinking, 2-drink limit, alcohol-free weekends)
✅ Keep building healthy habits: movement, rest, real food, and connection

This image pretty much sums up my reason and motivation to study nutrition and to help people. ‘My Big Why’ is about keeping myself, and others, as healthy as possible for as long as possible. So that we can all live a life with as little pain and discomfort as possible.

I cannot stress enoughb the importance of fibre in your diet! We should be aiming for 25g per day.
Probiotic and Prebiotic fibre are essential for a healthy gut microbiome as they feed you amazing microbes! These microbes 🦠 help repair damaged cell linings in your intestines, create many of the chemicals that support your health, and so much more. Here’s a cheat sheet about IBS, but this little bit of info will help shed some light on what and how much fibre is in some foods.

Here’s another couple of great posts from the myjourney instagram page. Something to think about tonight to reset for the next day (it doesn’t have to be a reset over the weekend, any day is fine!).
⭐️ My favourite is to set an interior goal for the week. One thing you’d like to achieve my the end of the week 😊

So many people ask me what’s SpeedFit? As a trainer I love it! And because I get bored in the gym, it is honestly the only way I can get any weight training into my life 💪 Here’s me trialing our new suits about a year ago, still remember the size was all they had but way too small! (Very tight squeeze) haha.

This tends to be a common question so thought I’d post a little information to help 😊

As a minimum starting point (for initial day to day muscle and cell repair), your body needs at least 1g of protein per 1kg of body weight.

So if you weigh 60kg this is 60g of protein per day.

If you work out more then you need more. Here is a couple of fact sheets from SpeedFit to guide you 👍
