✨ Mother’s Day Giveaway ✨

Mother’s Day can bring up a lot for people, and for many, it’s not an easy time emotionally.

Sometimes what we’re carrying doesn’t stay in the mind. It settles in the body instead, as tension, pressure, fatigue, emotional heaviness, or patterns that feel hard to shift just through thinking.

This is something that comes up often in my work, and to honour this, I’m offering a complimentary Kinesiology Wellbeing Session for one lucky Mum who’s feeling overwhelmed, stretched, or out of balance and would benefit from some space to reset and recalibrate.

If you'd like to enter yourself or other deserving Mums, please make sure you like and follow The Wise Butterfly Kinesiology first 💛

Then simply:
• Like this post
• Comment/tag other Mums who you’d love to gift this to

Each tag counts as an entry, so feel free to spread the love and tag as many local mums as you’d like to increase your chances!

The winner will be drawn on Mother's Day 💛

Good luck!

As National Kinesiology Week comes to an end, I’ve been reflecting on how powerful this work can be in supporting people through life’s challenges.

So many of the people I see each week arrive feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or unsure where to turn next.

And what often shifts things isn’t forcing solutions — it’s creating the space for the body and nervous system to reset.

When that happens, clarity and resilience naturally return.

If you’ve been curious about kinesiology, National Kinesiology Week is a lovely time to learn more about what it is and how it works.

And if you’re someone who’s currently navigating a season that feels heavy or overwhelming, please know that support exists.

You’re never as alone in it as it can sometimes feel 🤍

People are often surprised by the range of things kinesiology can support.

In my clinic, I see:
🤍 children experiencing big emotions
🤍 teens navigating stress and pressure
🤍 parents who are quietly overwhelmed
🤍 adults moving through big life changes

You don’t need a diagnosis.

You don’t need to be at breaking point.

Sometimes people simply feel like something isn’t quite right, or they’re stuck in patterns they can’t seem to shift.

Kinesiology helps uncover where stress may be held in the body and gently supports the system to rebalance.

Often small shifts internally create big changes in everyday life.

A question I get asked a lot is:

“What actually happens in a kinesiology session?”

Sessions are calm, gentle and very collaborative.

We start by talking about what’s going on for you or your child. Then muscle testing is used to identify where stress may be in your body.

From there, different techniques may be used to support balance, such as:
• acupressure points
• emotional stress release
• nervous system regulation techniques
• working with past stress patterns
• goal setting for change

Every session is different because every person is different.

One of the most common things people say afterwards is how relaxed and calm they feel.

For many people, it’s the first time in a long while that their nervous system has had permission to truly settle.

One of the things I often talk about with clients is the role of the nervous system.

When the nervous system is under stress, everyday moments can start to feel much bigger than they should.

You might notice things like:
• reacting strongly to small problems
• difficulty concentrating
• feeling constantly on edge
• emotional overwhelm
• exhaustion even after resting

Sometimes we assume we just need to push through or try harder.

But often the body is simply asking for support.

Kinesiology works gently with the nervous system to help release stored stress and support the body to return to a calmer state.

When the body feels safe again, things that once felt overwhelming often become much easier to navigate.

It’s one of the reasons I love this work so much.
