Today, we are sharing some incredibly sad news with our community.
It is with deep heartbreak that we acknowledge the unexpected passing of Dr Jonathan Grimshaw, who tragically died yesterday afternoon in a motorbike accident on Camden Valley Way.
Dr Grimshaw was not only an exceptional doctor, but a deeply compassionate human being — someone who dedicated his life to caring for others.
He was loved by so many…
his colleagues, his friends, and especially his patients, who trusted him and felt genuinely understood in his care.
Our hearts are with his wife, Katey, and their six children, who have suffered an unimaginable loss.
Right now, our focus is on surrounding Katey and the children with love, support, and practical care in the difficult days ahead.
We have also been deeply moved by the overwhelming outpouring of messages, tributes, and kindness from the community.
It speaks volumes about the impact Jonathan had on so many lives.
To his patients —
