For those following along in our rehab journey Roxy is completely healed and happy. She still lacks some fitness and strength but that’s what summer is for, bring on the 2026 season 🥰

I’m always looking at new tools or therapies to add to my collection. As usual my horses are the Guinea pigs and within the 10mins of use I noticed a lot less fasciculation and dipping away from Roxy’s lower back which has been a bit sore as she returns to work

I was lucky to spend my morning yesterday giving some of the horses and ponies at RDA Murray Mandurah a well deserved massage. I think to say they enjoyed it is an understatement 🥰

We have been out exploring to physically and mentally mix up our walk rehab and building up to longer spent in the saddle.

I can’t tape many horses this time of year due to moulting as it ends up as a waxing strip 😅 so this was very satisfying this morning

We have been doing lots of hand walking, enjoying taking things slow and exploring on Roxy’s rehab journey. It’s been really nice to work on other things and not have the pressure of riding/competing (which is something I usually love)
