Our Remembrance Day service was a time for quiet reflection, gratitude, and unity, as residents, staff, and visitors joined in remembrance and honouring those who gave their lives in service. Thank you to Charlie Uebergang, Anne and Michael Vogler, Lachie Summers and all the residents who assisted with the service.

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave souls who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

What a fabulous morning we had celebrating the Melbourne Cup in style. Residents and staff came together to enjoy a lively morning filled with songs, morning tea, and a sparkling fashion parade.

There were plenty of laughs, lots of colour, and some very creative outfits. Congratulations to our Best Dressed winners who truly stole the show.

The new aged care act comes Into force on 1st November 2025.

The new rights-based Aged Care Act commences this Saturday 1 November, and will afford all older Australians with greater independence, autonomy, choice and control regarding their care.

The Act reinforces that older people have the right to make their own decisions, with appropriate support if they need it. For registered supporters, the new regime also introduces clear responsibilities and consequences, ensuring that the autonomy and voice of the older person is respected in all decisions about their care and life.

Along with the new Act comes strengthened quality standards and greater protections for older people receiving aged care. It also sees the commencement of the Support at Home Program which has higher levels of support, more packages and benefits such as restorative care pathways.
