Meet Jonathan. 🦘
He used to hiss at me and do the full muscle pose when I walked past. Now he lets me get close enough to film. We’ve been working on this friendship for a while.

Several kangaroo families (+ wallabies and even a Bilby and Echidna) moved in after our dogs passed. Jonathan is the lone bachelor - grazing, sunbaking, judging us silently every single day.

He lives here now. We just pay the bills.

True story - before we kept bees, I used to drive past hives in paddocks and genuinely wonder why someone kept abandoning old wooden filing cabinets in random fields.

Now I know better. Inside each one is a colony of up to 60,000 bees doing something extraordinary.

That’s Phil doing a quick check on bee numbers in the top super of a hive that was struggling to control Hive Beetles... A little help using diatomaceous earth & Swisher pads and all is now good. We have four hives on our Noosa Hinterland property. Each one produces a different single origin honey depending on what’s flowering nearby.

The raw honey from these hives goes into our Raw Honey Probiotic Cleanser. From Phil’s filing cabinets to your skin. 🍯

Late afternoon at one of our hives. The bees are out on the walls working hard to keep the internal temperature just right - fanning, clustering, doing what they do.

Maybe they’re also chatting and catching up. Humming together at the end of a long day. I like to think so.

What our goats taught us about skin health 🐐

Our small herd of Nubeean Noosa goats have been remarkable teachers. Their health challenges and how we solved them, perfectly mirror what we've learned about thriving skin.

Parasite Control 🪱
We use Bioworma, a biological parasite control containing spores of Duddingtonia flagrans, a worm-eating fungus. It passes through the goats, hatches in their p**p and breaks the infection cycle. Since adding it daily to their feed, we've eliminated the need for routine chemical wormers entirely.

Hydration 💧
During summer, our goats receive daily electrolytes with trace organic minerals like zinc and copper. On hot days, they drink every drop, choosing it over plain water!

Gut Health 🌿
We use Kohnke's Own Formex at the first sign of digestive changes. During our wet season, we add Mycosorb A+, a yeast and algae-based toxin binder, to combat mould exposure.

Nutrition🍎💪
Livamol—a food-based vitamin and mineral blend with molasses and cod liver oil—transformed their coats noticeably within weeks.
