We can spend so much energy trying to control the conditions around us that was never ours to control in the first place.
Mindfulness invites a different approach. Instead of fighting the waves, we learn to meet them with awareness, balance, and practice. Surfing doesn’t mean the ocean becomes gentle; it means we become skillful. We learn when to stand, when to fall, and how to climb back on the board with patience and self-compassion.
