I've only got a few appointments left this week on Wednesday before heading off to the Riverland for meetings, catch ups, river time, and running a special Sacred Cacao Ceremony & Chakradance with Rebel Heart Journeys on Friday night in Loxton!

Then I'll be attending the weekly Chakradance session, moving through the Heart Chakra, supported by Goddess Kuan Yin and guided by Kylie Beer, 6.30pm-8.30pm. A few spots left if you're ready to be free to be love!

I'm a little obsessed with my Mists of Avalon Oracle because I'm so looking forward to returning to Glastonbury in May and sharing some sacred moments with a small group of people, from the UK and Australia!

Thanks Morning Ritual Cacao for this advice on preparing cacao. I use macadamia milk or coconut milk in mine and zazen alkaline water, usually half/half depending on how creamy I want it.

Question: should you add milk to cacao?

Answer: absolutely you can - but be mindful of what milk you choose!

Yesterday I was talking with some women about cacao, and one shared that she recently made her cacao on tigernut milk and how delicious it was! I'm yet to try it, but it inspired me to share this post.

Adding milk to cacao can change the flavour and depth to the cacao. My suggestion is to have fun and play around with what you like the taste of.

When having a larger ceremonial dose of cacao, you may choose NOT to add milk, as the larger quantity of cacao will already make it very thick and earthy. But definitely consider the quality of water you are using to make your cacao - make sure it's filtered and chlorine free!

If adding milk to cacao to increase the creaminess or lighten the flavour, I usually go for either almond milk or coconut milk. You can also try macadamia or cashew milk. If serving cacao in group ceremonies, to avoid nut allergies, I'd suggest opting for coconut milk. Be mindful that oat milk can contain traces of gluten, so again be mindful of this in group ceremony.

The two milks to avoid in your cacao are dairy and soy. Both of these milks contain inhibitors that prevent absorption of the minerals contained within the cacao.

In my opinion, the best way to prepare your cacao is to use a blender rather than a whisk. It allows the melted cacao to thoroughly mix with the liquid, create a bit of froth, but it really enhances the smoothness of the cacao. If you don't have a counter-top blender - a stick blender works just as effectively!

Memories from last June after returning from a wonderful trip to the Greek Islands and UK, and the first thing I did was head to the ocean to soak my feet. A week later, my right ankle started to swell - I thought I'd twisted it whilst doing a happy dance at work!

It got worse and my left ankle started to swell so I checked myself into hospital to confirm if I had blood clots from the long haul flight. Spent the whole day in hospital having x-rays, ultrasound scans and MRI - they all showed up clear, and apparently there was nothing wrong with me, so I was promptly sent home feeling like I'd wasted their valuable time.

The swelling continued and got so bad that I couldn't put shoes on, my feet were numb and I stayed home with my legs raised most of the day. No pain, no other symptoms, I otherwise felt good but I couldn't get up the stairs to work.

Long story short, I went to see Sarah Ellen for a Lymph Flow session and my whole lymph system was blocked. I saw immediate results after one session.

I also saw Luke from The Holistic Zone for a bio-resonance session and he found heavy metals and toxic overload in my body with the underlying emotion (because if you don't acknowledge the emotion, the body stays stuck) fear of abundance which was playing out in my sub-conscious as a generational block. What?!!!

Forgiveness, surrender, inner reflection was a daily practice, as well daily far infrared saunas, and lathering my body with organic castor oil, adding a zazen water filter to my shower, and many other things - it was full time job looking after me!

I also had some Exercise Physiology sessions with Cherie Noble to keep my lymph system flowing. Another break-through emotion I let go of with Cherie's guidance, was that I am capable of standing on my own feet and I can make my own decisions and trust in them! This was a huge revelation as there was still a fear of making a wrong decision, when in truth, there is no wrong decision, it's just lots of choices and every choice has a consequence.

5 weeks later, I was thankfully able to fly to Queensland to run a weekend retreat on Magnetic Island with beautiful souls who ended up looking after me - and I had to allow myself to receive!

A week later, and completely put of the blue, I signed the lease for the Collective Soul Centre and magic beyond my wildest dreams happened.

Moral of the story - you never know what incredible plans the Universe has for you until you surrender and completely let go! Your light shines within you always, no matter what external appearances show up.

Hello Riverland friends, Kylie Beer and I are heading up there next weekend to start distributing flyers and posters for the 12th annual Riverland Wellness Festival (on Sat 21 & Sun 22 March 2026) and we're offering a special Sacred Cacao & Chakradance event next Friday 30 January at the Loxton Studio.

Participants will get double the healing as Kylie from Rebel Heart Journeys and I will both be doing hands-on healing and sound healing after you've enjoyed the delicious plant medicine of mama cacao, lovingly prepared by yours truly, with some added touches of magic!

Kylie will then take you through Chakradance, giving yourself permission to dance like no-one is watching (because you'll be blindfolded if you want), as she guides you through a journey to clear your chakra energy centres through movement. Finishing with drawing the energy you felt into your own mandala!
