This is something horses show us so clearly. Watching their movement teaches us about safety, rhythm and self-directed action.

🌿✨ Have you experienced one of our ROUND PEN SESSIONS? ✨🌿

❋ Round pen sessions are a unique part of what we do at E&A, and something we absolutely love offering.
❋ These sessions are a place where connection, intuition and curiosity meet.
❋ Participants often experience profound insights and transformative experiences ⋆ the sessions can act like doorways to healing and deeper alignment.
❋ They are a space to receive targeted guidance from the horses about your personal situation ⋆ the only catch is you have to be ready to see it.

❋ To be ready for a round pen experience, both horses and human needs to have stepped through what we call the invitational layering process, something unique to the model of equine facilitated work.
❋ This is a beautiful process where you are mindfully guided by your facilitator through a series of exercises with the horses ⋆ into a practice of deep listening – to self, to horse and to nature.

Ｗｈａｔ’ｓｔｈｅｗｉｓｄｏｍ ? 🔦

Sometimes things can feel like they’re getting in the way of the life we truly yearn for. This can leave us feeling like we’re losing a constant uphill battle again and again. Oftentimes people say, I’m fighting my anxiety or I’m battling with depression, I’m sick of feeling this way or I just want this situation to go away.

𝑯𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒖𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒘𝒆’𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉. 🍂🍁🍃

Often the piece of us that we are fighting wants to be seen or expressed in a healthy way. It carries an innate wisdom that might be trying to protect us, care for us or crack us open in a new way so we can fully experience our aliveness.

Horses help us to uncover the wisdom in these hard to bear aspects of self and hold an unconditional space for them while we learn to do that for ourselves. 🤎

Hey! Are you remembering to feel your emotions? Do you take time to acknowledge what is going on for you? Who do you have in your life that can sit with you and hold space?

In our fast paced world that is concerned with moving forward, achievement and being your best self there is little space to acknowledge sadness, grief or other big emotions. We are trained to see ‘moving on’ or ‘getting through it’ as being beneficial or coping well.

In truth, we can’t actually grow until we practice integrating our emotions into our lives and until we acknowledge them which means… feeling them and being with them.

This is a gentle reminder that we don’t need to feel happy all the time and that it is okay to feel sad, lonely and down. You matter, even when you’re feeling these things. 👋👋👋

Ｄｉｄｙｏｕｋｎｏｗ…．
E&A is part of a wider herd of Groundwork Therapy practitioners who practise the Invitational Approach. We regularly attend Professional Development throughout the year and co~facilitate with our colleagues all over Australia! As EFL practitioners we put safety of horses and humans as our number one priority in session. This allows us to work in all sorts of places, with all sorts of people and all horses! Lucky us!
