We are delighted to welcome Dr Sally Wark to our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Sally is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in Port Fairy 9am - 5.00pm and Wednesday's in Koroit 9.00am - 4.30pm. Dr. Sally Wark is a registrar undertaking part of her General Practice training at Port Fairy Medical Clinic. Since graduating with her medical degree in 2017, Sally has worked at a variety of hospitals and GP clinics across Adelaide and Melbourne, and has completed a Graduate Diploma of Child Health. Her special interests include chronic disease and palliative care, and she is accredited for Implanon insertion and removal. Sally is enthusiastic to join the Port Fairy community and excited to explore all the beauty South West has to offer!

Dr Alex Umbers, an experienced GP Obstetrician, this session will explore the reality of birth related trauma—what it is, how it impacts women, and why it matters.

We’ll also introduce Peer2Peer, a community-based support group developed by Birth Trauma Australia providing lived-experience support for women following a traumatic birth. Learn how this program complements clinical care and how you can connect your patients to it.

This session is ideal for GPs, midwives, maternal child health nurses, and allied health professionals. Bring your lunch, and leave with practical knowledge that could change a life.
