I’ve had a lot of new followers recently and a few changes within Sacred Strength so I thought I’d reintroduce myself and recap on where you can find me and what 2026 will look like 😍🔥

Hi, I’m Kristy and I’m still riding the high of competing at the CrossFit Games 🥰

I coach CrossFit, I run my own business - Sacred Strength and I specialise in CrossFit Gymnastics 🤸🏻‍♀️

I currently coach across 3 different gyms in Perth!

You can find me Monday - Thursday

Thursday arvo & Fridays

And once a month I coach a specialised gymnastics class

I run 1:1 and semi private sessions through Sacred Strength. These sessions can be either general fitness (CrossFit or functional fitness) OR skill specific sessions.

I also have 2 online programs I run:
Everyday Athlete &
Get Gymnasty
both can be found from the link in my bio!

What else does Sacred Strength offer?

Gymnastics workshops!

These can be delivered at your gym, either in a 3 session all inclusive pack, or individually (based on a single skill)

What this space: I will be releasing a coaches only workshop: MOVEMENT MASTERY and also 6 week intensive challenge 👀🤫🔥

So. Much. Happening!

And usually the most difficult part is starting 🫣

We often think “I’m not fit enough to start that class/gym/challenge” when in reality, no one was “anything” enough when they first started either

We just took that step

And then we realised how great it feels honouring our bodies, doing the hard things, getting a sweat on, joining a community 🌻

We face difficult things every day
Don’t miss out on great things by avoiding the hard things
Don’t look back with regret wishing you’d started sooner

Start now
Start today
Do the difficult things
They matter

Life threw everything at me before I left.

I had every reason to want to quit.

But if there’s anything I’ve learnt in life it’s this:

Your greatest moments often come after the hardest times, you just gotta see it through 🌻

Friday 22: DAY TWO

Thought I’d shake the nerves out after day one, boy was I wrong 🥴😂

Event 3: 18 min amrap - typically not my jam but we worked HARD on these long pieces heading into the games, so I felt confident in my fitness. We even trained a lot of pistols - we did not train weighted pistols however and they got me good 😭

I was super frustrated trying to string reps together and then that feeling of dread - “I don’t want to get stuck here”. Managed to get the 20 out and make it back to the rower but it was not the finish I wanted 😥

Place: 29th

Event 4: Heavy Sandbags aren’t typically my jam and I’ve never picked up a Husafell bag before! I had mixed feelings about this workout, I do love a burpee so knew I had to use that to my advantage but had no idea how the heavy bag and GHDs would fair for me.

I crossed the line 4th in my heat and you couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. It finally felt like I was doing what I knew I was capable of! This gave me some confidence in myself again & I enjoyed myself out there ☺️

Place: 10th

And that a wrap…

22nd in the WORLD 🥹🥰🥳

What a weekend. What a ride. I’m still pinching myself that it happened, that I was there, that I did that. 4 years in the game, I never would have imagined I’d have the chance to fly half way across the world to compete against the best.

Not only that, to have these 4 humans fly over and be there every step of the way was something else 🫶

the coach who swore he’d never coach me. Thank you. For pushing my limits each and every session and for guiding me to be the very best that I can be. Although some things didn’t go my way (pistols 🫠) my ex*****on of everything is down to the work we’ve put in. And to be able to say I held my own is a credit to who you are an athlete and the standard you hold me to. Thank you isn’t enough. I appreciate you (and .0) immensely.

& not many people can say their mates flew to America to cheer them on! 16 months and so many memories, this just tops it! To have you both shouting and cheering was the absolute fu***ng best! And ofc thanks Haz man for trying to save my legs on that last day 🫠😂

the ultimate. You walked into this relationship only a few months before I launched myself into full Games prep. Not even knowing what CrossFit was, you took everything in your stride. Forever grateful for you 💙

To my fam, thank you for everything always. The support is unmatched, from helping me to get to America, to the check ins, the texts, the support, watching the live stream - it means so much 🥹
co thank you all for helping through my prep & during game time. It’s not easy as a Masters athlete to tackle such a big thing with very little sponsor support so thank you 🫶

My heart is full and I’m proud of me and that seems like a pretty good outcome for people who put their whole lives into something like this 🥰

Saturday 23: DAY THREE

Event 6: The event was changed at the very last minute from an axle bar to a normal bar (& lighter) which worked in my favour. 3 min AMRAP. But safe to say I was not prepared for my quads to leave the chat after the first sled 🫠😂

Place: 26th

Event 7: Ring muscle ups - love. OHS - don’t love as much 😆 but rings are def a fav for me and knowing it was the last workout for the weekend, I gave it everything I had. Kept my rings unbroken until the very last set which is exactly what I wanted. Kept my barbell unbroken too, which is a huge win for me! 2nd in my heat by 1 rep, so close 🤪

Saturday 23: DAY THREE

Event 5: Was not looking forward to this one AT ALL. Tested it in training - only did 3 of the 4 rounds because it hurt SO BAD. Goal of the workout was to get 300 dubs in 4 rounds. In testing, I got about 170 in 3 rounds lollll

We’ve done a sh*tload of bike work in the lead up to this but it’s still the one thing I don’t like/don’t think I’m good at. Anyway, I knew I came off the first round in a decent spot. But they had it set up so you had to advance every 50 dubs - not great when you’re racing the clock 😅 so I decided to skip into the next box. Turns out it was a neat lil trick that bought me maybe 10 more dubs each time.

It was hard to tell where everyone was, but I could see the bikes either side of me and knew I was holding a good pace with at least 2 others haha.

Rnd 2 and 3 were hold on as best I could. I could hear my cheer squad every single round and movement. It was all I needed to send the last round as best I could. I saw my rope was the only one in the last 100, so I held on.

263 dubs. Heat win. What a feeling!

Thursday 21: DAY ONE

Not the events I would choose to open with on day one buttttt not the worst outcome for me either!

Event 1: 7km run through downtown Colombus. I don’t like running long distance and the two long runs I did in training prior were not fun 😂

Nerves aside, the run didn’t feel too bad at the start. The girls went out hottttt. I looked down after the first 500m and we were holding a 4.10 pace 💀

I knew I couldn’t sustain that so tried to really pull back and find a comfortable pace without falling too far back.

I dunno about anyone else but that whole run was just me talking to myself. Every. Single. Step. I hit the 6km and I started to get a stitch. Not fun. Every part of me wanted to stop. My pace blew out. I was done mentally. But I managed to get through, somehow and even bring my pace down by 40s through that last km to PB my 7km time 🥳

Place: 27th

Event 2: Max C&J. Again, not my strength but I had lots of fun out there 😍

Practised what I wanted in training and was going to open with 165lbs/72kg but the barbell moved smooth in the warm up area so we opened with 175lbs/77kg (much to the disappointment of who told me to open with 180/81 🫣)

Finished with an equal PB power: 190lbs/86kg

Place: 26th

Left feeling really happy with my efforts, the nerves were UNREAL but I was here - doing the damn thing & bloody stoked!!
