Flu Vaccinations

Flu season is here with us again and we are now taking bookings for over 65 year olds. At this stage we have not yet received our private vaccinations or for those who are covered by the NIP. We hope to receive those in the coming weeks, but will not be taking appointments until we have a definite arrival date.

For those over 65, please call reception to book into me of of our flu vaccine sessions.

Have you heard the news!

From Monday 2nd March Lincoln Medical Centre will be qualified for BBPIP!

What this means for our patients and new patients?
- More bulkbilling offered.
- Our gap payment for Medicare card holders for general health appointments will be void from Monday.
- some fees will still apply (see below for more details or ask our reception team for a copy of our bulk billing flyer on your next visit 😊)

Have you heard about MyMedicare?

MyMedicare allows you to nominate Lincoln Medical Centre and your preferred GP as your regular healthcare provider, helping you receive more consistent and personalised care.

By registering with MyMedicare, you may be able to access:

Longer Medicare-funded telehealth consultations
Improved continuity of care with your regular GP
More regular visits for aged care residents
Registration is free and not compulsory. However, if you are registered with MyMedicare and have a care plan, you must be registered to the clinic where you wish to complete that care plan.

If you are already registered with MyMedicare and would like to have your care plan completed at Lincoln Medical Centre, you will need to provide authority for your MyMedicare registration to be transferred to our practice.

If you have any questions or would like assistance, please speak with our reception team.

We are excited to welcome Dr Jaye Cousins and Dr Jessie Zhang to our clinic starting from Monday next week! Dr Jessie comes to us from working at the Port Lincoln Hospital last year and Dr Jaye comes to us from Women’s and Children’s.

Jaye will be working alongside Dr Kay doing shared obstetrics and she has a special interest in Women’s Health.

You may have seen Jessie around the community. She brings her experience from working at the hospital in 2025 to our growing practice as she works alongside Dr Sam.

They are both now available for bookings on HotDoc or call the clinic to book an appointment.

SCAM WARNING

We have been made aware from our online booking partner HotDoc that there is currently a scam involving someone falsely representing them. They have not been compromised and their data is safe. It is an email claiming to be from HotDoc Rebate Refund, rebates are not conducted through HotDoc and they will never contact you on our behalf to return charges or rebates.

If you have received a message claiming to be from us and are uncertain please contact the clinic on 8682 5133.

We will always contact you via a phone call from the clinic, if there is any issue with payment and a refund needs to be conducted.

We are aware of an issue affecting our reminder system. Reminders are still being sent out but unfortunately we are unable to receive responses to the message of yes or no. The issue is being investigated and we expect it to be resolved in the coming days.
