Hands-on vessel role on operating fishing vessels (not a workshop role)
- Offshore trips (1–2 weeks) during season
- Local vessel operations and maintenance year-round.

Just under two weeks ago, we had the honour of attending a celebration marking a world-first milestone: the MSC certification for Australia’s Southern Bluefin Tuna purse seine fishery.

It was a proud day for everyone involved and made even more special by seeing Stehr Group tuna showcased and served at the event. A lot of heart, history, and dedication goes into what we do, and moments like these remind us why it matters.

Sustainability has long been a focus for our team, and this recognition sets a powerful standard for the future of responsible seafood in Australia and beyond.

A huge thank you to the Marine Stewardship Council for bringing everyone together, and to all those working hard behind the scenes every day to make progress possible.
