Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of driving for work. This has left me with spare time to ponder and reflect on all the things…
One thing that I have been feeling into that has been coming up in clinic more recently is the unpredictability of life and how quickly life can change. With this, there can be anxiety and fears that arise from the realisation of the lack of control we actually have over life/our destiny.
The only time we truly have guaranteed is this present moment. We aren’t promised a tomorrow and we can’t change the past.
To me, the journey of life is about facing the unknown and being open to the amazing possibilities, lessons and growth that each day holds. The unknown of life can be so exciting if you are able to let go of control and surrender to the experience.
Is the answer to life’s worries to step into full surrender and trust? Trust in how you feel in the present moment. Trust in what your intuition is telling you. Trust in your judgement. Trust that perhaps if that job or to-do list didn’t get done, it may be for a reason? Trust in the journey of each day and all that life delivers to you is somehow serving your highest good (even if it involves harsh lessons).
You are the only one who will ever live this life through your eyes. This is your experience. Each new day we are gifted the opportunity to decide how we want to perceive that day, how we want to spend our energy and what thoughts and realities you choose to feed yourself.
This world was gifted to us to experience life and its entirety. The ups, downs, the full spectrum of emotions, connection, gratitude, love and all of life’s wonders and blessings.
You do have the power to choose what perceptions, realities and thoughts you feed yourself and that’s pretty damn powerful.
