Who else is feeling bloated, lethargic, and stuffed like a turducken after Christmas ? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Did you Over indulge for more than one day like I did!?

I had a very festive & busy December! I had a great time but I’m so over the junk and alcohol! 🤢 I miss my green apples and veggies!!

I am Craving program approved foods. Good, tasty, clean, healthy, nutritious foods.
I want to feel good and have energy again!

I have put in a few kilos But I know how to fix it and I’m looking forward to getting back on plan!

I’m not waiting for the challenge to start on the 6th
I’m cutting out the crap and going back to what makes me feel good.
But then I will do the challenge and shed that excess baggage I brought back from my European holiday!

👀You may not be expecting to hear this from me, your gut health & weightloss mentor … but… go and eat the Ginger Bread house if you want too!🤩

🙌Yes! Christmas– it’s all about enjoying the delicious food, heartfelt get-togethers, and maybe a cheeky glass of wine (or two) 😉. And of course Jesus’ birthday 🙂 🙏🏻🎁

❌It’s NOT about stressing over every bite or feeling like you need to ‘be good.’

🎄Christmas isn’t a self-control contest — it’s a time to enjoy, have fun, enjoy the sometimes foods .. 🥐🥧🍻🍭

But if you don’t want to wake up on Boxing Day feeling like a stuffed turkey 🦃.., Here are my simple tips to keep you feeling good while still enjoying the day:

1️⃣ Savour every bite: Eat what you love, but take your time to actually taste it! Fun fact – the first bite is always the best. Enjoy it slowly.

2️⃣ Plan your plate, don’t pile it: Fill it with the foods you actually love – not just everything on the table. Try for a mix of veggies, protein, and (of course) leave room for dessert.
🥙Pro tip: Load up on the salads you love, have a taster of everything but NOT a full serve of everything! Or you’ll burst and have no room for dessert! .

3️⃣ Keep it moving: Skip the boring workouts. Get outside for a walk, play backyard 🏏 cricket, or chase the kids around. It all counts and feels way more fun than a workout app! 🚶‍♀️🎄

4️⃣ Water it down: No, I’m not talking about the wine! 😉
Stay hydrated with good ol’ H2O between drinks and meals. It helps you feel better, plus you’ll be ready for more dessert. Win-win!

💝But remember — Christmas is one day.
It’s about love, laughter, and memories, not stress and food guilt.

Enjoy every moment, every bite, and every sip.

The scales aren’t invited to Christmas lunch anyway.
And maybe don’t look at the scales for a day or 2 😉

Are you Tired of losing weight only to find it creeping back? 😅

For over 20 years, I was stuck in the cycle—lose weight, gain it back, Lose weight, find more,… usually with interest. 😳

My story could be your story.

Back in May 2018 I was chatting with my Best Friend who said she’d lost 9 kilos in a month doing a program called Ph@tt which stood for Putting Health At The Top. My BFF has struggled to lose weight with diet and exercise due to medication, so to lose 9 kilos in a month was just wonderful. Of course I wanted to know more, as I had been struggling with my weight for years. I’d got up over 80kg (officially I was obese according to BMI) and worked hard every week eating well & exercising but never got under 80kg.

Or if I did, it was only just and it was very short lived. Once in around 2002 I got down to 73kg. I was dieting and power walking for an hour every night. That was the skinniest I’d been since I was 21 when my son was murdered and I was eating once a day and smoking alot. I dont know what I weighed then but I was thin but still had chubbyness.
