Yesterday I finally stopped waiting for “perfect” and just… started.

The apothecary revamp has been sitting on my to-do list for weeks, because in my head it had to be done all at once and perfectly.

But perfection is a cute idea… until you’re four shops deep, tea in hand, herbs up your nose, and celebrating the fact we found 54 jars out of the 72 jars we needed. 😂🌿

We made a mess, we made progress, and honestly? That’s business.
It’s not about getting it perfect, it’s about getting it started.

The jars will come, the shelves will sort themselves, and the mess?
Well… she’ll still be still there waiting for me today. 😂✨

And while you might notice things look a little different in the shop this week, we’re still ironing out the kinks. Just know we’re doing our absolute best. 💜

Full circle moments hit different. 🖤

Today we hung the original Witchy Nook sign in our new shed... the one that started it all. It’s a little piece of our history now watching over this next chapter.

We spent the day building shelves, creating space, and finding order in the chaos. Every screw, every dusty corner, every small win felt like a quiet reminder of how far we’ve come and how much love has gone into every part of this journey.

Every little step reminds me how far we’ve come... from humble beginnings to our growing little empire of chaos, community, and a whole lotta magic.

Today I turn 30: because apparently the universe said “you’re the adult now.” 🎉🍾

Today’s all about celebrating 30 years of laughter, lessons, and a lot of love and honestly, I wouldn’t have made it here without my parents by my side. 🫶

They’ve been there through every version of me, cheering the loudest, helping the most, and always pretending they’re not worried when I say, “I’ve got an idea.” 😅

Here’s to parents who show up, lift you up, and remind you that no matter how old you get… you’ll always be their kid (even when you hit the big 3-0). 💕

Four years of chaos, crystals, and community. 🎉🍾💃

What started as me selling a few crystals on Marketplace (with Dylan as my first and only customer 😂) somehow turned into markets, a pop-up, a shop and now our forever home on Horton Street.

Four years of growth, grit, and “what the hell am I doing?” moments that turned into “look how far we’ve come.” 🖤

To everyone who’s shopped, shared, supported, or simply sent good vibes, thank you for helping The Witchy Nook grow from a spark into a full-blown flame. Here’s to more magic, mischief, and fun times ahead.

💜 Somewhere between chaos and crystals, we built a community. 💜

As we head into the final stretch of the year, I’ve been feeling a little reflective (and maybe just a tiny bit emotional). Our next 3 workshops are live on the website and will officially wrap up another huge year at The Witchy Nook.

When I started this little dream four years ago, I never imagined it would grow into the community it is today. A space full of connection, laughter, learning, and a sprinkle of chaos (the best kind). Each workshop, every conversation, every person who’s walked through the door has helped shape this space into something truly magical.

So here’s to the last few workshops of 2025, to celebrating how far we’ve come, to community, to connection, and to all of you who make The Witchy Nook what it is. 🖤

Because at the end of the day, it’s never just about herbs, crystals, or candles, it’s about finding your people, your magic, and a little piece of yourself along the way.

Who says small business owners don’t clean up well? 💃🕺

Between the laughter, the champagne, and the amazing outfits, it was one of those nights that reminded me why I love this community so much. The Hastings Education Fund Gala, put together by the powerhouse that is Maya, brought together so many incredible locals — all showing up to support, give, and make a difference.

These are the moments that refill your cup. The reminder that community isn’t just about business, it’s about connection, kindness, and people who show up for one another.

Big love to Dylan and Heidii for joining the fun and to everyone who continues to lift each other up in this town. 🖤
