A special shoutout to all of the women in the Women in Business feature in our local Focus Magazine, which highlights Sophie Rourke and Melinda Dalton , pharmacists and owners of Flynn’s Beach Pharmacy.

Their vision has always been simple — healthcare should be personal, supportive and community-focused. These events aren’t only educational, they’re about meaningful networking, sharing real-world solutions, and bringing best-practice aged care strategies back to the facilities and residents we support every day — including our wonderful partners at Garden Village Port Macquarie St Agnes' Care & Lifestyle, Emmaus Village Port Macquarie, Highfields Manor, Laurieton Lakeside Aged Care Residence, Lake Cathie Manor Hall & Prior Aged Care NSW

Ovarian cancer is often called the silent disease because symptoms can be vague and easily overlooked. Knowing the signs and acting early can make a difference.

Be aware of symptoms such as:
• Persistent bloating
• Pelvic or abdominal pain
• Feeling full quickly or loss of appetite
• Urinary urgency or frequency

If symptoms are new, frequent, or persistent, it’s important to see your GP.
