The Opportunity
Flynn's Beach Pharmacy is seeking a part-time to full-time pharmacy assistant/medical administration assistant to join our team in Port Macquarie, NSW. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of our pharmacy ensuring we supply our customers in nursing homes and our community with timely access to their medications.

Key Responsibilities
Assisting pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications
Providing administrative support, including reading and interpreting electronic medication charts
Working with the aged care manager to prioritise and prepare nursing home residents medications
Packing medication packs and dispensing basic orders
Engaging with community and nursing home customers and staff to gather information and answer enquiries
Maintaining a clean and organised pharmacy and workspace environment
Supporting the overall smooth running of the pharmacy's operations and timely access to medications

What We're Looking For
Strong passion for helping others
An interest to be part of a diverse and innovative pharmacy providing holistic pharmacy services within the community, aged care and NDIS sectors
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Someone who is keen to learn and able to pick up computer software skills promptly
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Previous experience in pharmacy is preferred but not essential
