Can we talk about Kegels for a sec?
Around 70% of women aren’t doing their Kegels correctly, and many end up causing more problems than they started with.
I see it every week in the clinic, women who’ve tried to “fix it” on their own, clenching randomly throughout the day, thinking more squeezes equals more strength.
Unfortunately... that's wrong!
A healthy pelvic floor isn’t about constant tension, it’s about control, coordination, and relaxation.
And without learning the proper technique (and knowing what your body actually needs), you could be making things worse.
I wish every woman was taught this properly from the start because when you do it right, the results are incredible.
When you don’t… well, that’s when you end up in my clinic needing a whole lot more support.
If you’ve been guessing your way through Kegels, this is your sign to stop clenching and start learning.
Book your pelvic floor assessment & we’ll teach you exactly what your body needs (and what it doesn’t). 💗
