I have been working in the Disability and Aged Care sectors for the last 8 years, since I came to Port Macquarie. I first came here to care for my father who was palliative with cancer and then cared for my mum who had dementia for 7 years. She recently passed away.
During this time I have completed Certificate III’s in both Disability and Aged Care. Earlier I have a Business Degree and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.
Over the last 8 years I have gained work experience training and working in a Disability Home and Aged Care Facilities, as well as working for a supplier of Disability and Aged Care Equipment.
In the last 4 years I have been assisting clients from their homes. I often take clients out into the community, assisting them with Social and Recreational Access. My clients’ ages range from 12 to 93 (years of age).
I am an Independent NDIS Support Worker looking to make a difference with my clients. I currently have availability in my schedule to take on new clients.
