Three generations, one pool and a lifetime of love for swimming 💙

Today was extra special. My mum who has been coaching for 40 years was back on pool deck sharing her wisdom, passion and patience with the next wave of swimmers. I was close by helping coach adults and my daughter was in the water with her Nan’s squad.

It’s not every day you get to witness three generations sharing the same pool space (one teaching, one coaching, one swimming!). For me, it’s a reminder that the love of the sport isn’t just about the strokes and the times it’s about connection, community and passing on a piece of ourselves to the next generation💛
