Move it to move it! šŸ’™
Did you know that your lymphatic system relies on movement to do its job? Unlike blood, which has the heart to pump it around, lymph fluid needs muscle movement to keep flowing.
That’s why daily activity is so important for managing lymphoedema!
Gentle exercises like walking, swimming, yoga, and even deep breathing can help encourage lymphatic flow and reduce swelling. The key? Find movement that feels good for your body and make it a daily habit!

What’s your favourite way to stay active? Share your go-to movement tips in the comments! ⬇

For most people, a tiny cut or scratch is no big deal—but for those with lymphoedema, even a minor wound can become a serious issue if not managed properly. With a compromised lymphatic system, the body has a harder time fighting infection, making early intervention key.
The best approach? Clean it, cover it, and keep an eye on it. If there’s redness, warmth, or swelling that worsens—don’t wait, seek medical advice!
Have you ever caught an issue early just by paying attention? Let’s share our experiences in the

An accredited lymphoedema therapist can help choose the best style, material, and pressure level for your body and lifestyle. Whether you

Let’s talk toes and fingers! 🦶 šŸ– For those living with lymphoedema, small things can make a big difference— especially when it comes to infection prevention.
The spaces between your toes and fingers are warm, moist environments where bacteria love to thrive, making them common areas for
issues like fungal infections and cellulitis.

So, what can you do? Keep them clean, dry, and well moisturised (but not overly damp!). Trim nails carefully to avoid cuts, wear breathable socks and gloves when needed, and check for any redness, cuts, or irritation. A little daily care goes a long way!

Have you noticed any changes in your fingers or toes that signalled a problem early? Let’s share tips and experiences in the comments! ⬇
