Our winter Gold Coast program recently concluded for the season as this wonderful group of travellers enjoyed our Theme Park Adventure holiday.

With a focus on theme park fun our group spent time at Sea World, Movie World and Dreamworld as well as enjoying time at the beach and some all-important retail therapy!

Although our season has concluded for the year the good news is that we are returning to the Gold Coast next year in January and June so feel free to reach our to explore your options as it’s never to early to book.

AUGUST 14TH – 18TH, 2025

Calling all Elvis fans! Our annual visit to the Blue Mountains Elvis Festival departs next month and we currently have a couple of places still available for fans of the King and all things Rock n Roll.
Our four night getaway includes three sessions of concerts featuring some amazing Elvis tribute acts as well as time to explore the incredible Blue Mountains with a highlight being a visit to Scenic Word.

Disability Pride Month

This month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and diversity of the disability community. Disability Pride is about challenging outdated stereotypes and promoting visibility in the community where everyone has a right to be seen, heard, and valued exactly as they are.

The Disability Pride Flag

The five colours on the flag represent different areas of the disability community:

• Green for sensory disabilities
• Blue for psychological disabilities and mental health
• White for invisible and undiagnosed disabilities
• Yellow for cognitive and intellectual disabilities
• Red for physical disabilities

The colours are displayed in a horizontal line across the flag, which represents cutting through the barriers faced by people with disabilities. And the dark background recognises the people with disabilities who have lost their lives as a result of ableist violence or negligence.

Gold Coast Long Winter Break

Our Gold Coast Getaway season recently kicked off with a lovely group of travellers spending eight days enjoying the sights and attractions of this wonderful part of Australia.

Our varied itinerary included theme parks, cruises, concerts plus plenty of time to enjoy the facilities at our beachside resort.
It was a fantastic week enjoyed by all.

2026 Grand Adventure

Our 2025 Grand Adventure to New York has not long returned and we already planning for 2026!

Next May we are travelling to France to spend time exploring the magical City of Light that is Paris. This beautiful, historic city is home to some of the world’s most iconic landmarks and attractions and to explore the city is a truly unforgettable experience.

We then venture to Marne-la-Vallee to visit our good friend, Mickey (Mouse), spending three days immersed in wonder at Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.

This will truly be a Grand Adventure.

BLUE MOUNTAINS ELVIS FESTIVAL
AUGUST 14 – 18, 2025

Calling all Elvis fans and lovers of Rock’n’Roll music.
We are heading the Blue Mountains this August to attend the Blue Mountains Elvis Festival.

A firm favourite for many of our travellers, we spend the weekend attending all three days of the Festival where we enjoy a variety of concerts and performances featuring some world renowned Elvis impersonators as well as celebrating the music of other Rock’n’Roll legends.

It’s a weekend of singing, clapping and dancing as celebrate “The King” in the stunningly beautiful Blue Mountains.

Concerts aside, we have ample time to explore this beautiful park of Australia with visits Scenic World, Three Sisters and townships of Katoomba and Leura

The recent long weekend saw our return to the National Celtic Festival in Portarlington. along the Bellarine Peninsula.

This vibrant festival has been a Leisure Options favourite for many years and this year did not disappoint with an incredible program of music, dance and interactive activities.

Our Albury Train Adventure is fast approaching with a departure date of July 29th.
This winter getaway departs from Southern Cross Station as we travel by rail to the border city of Albury where we spend six days exploring Victoria’s stunning Northeast & Alpine Region.

It was a trip of a lifetime as we recently ventured across the Pacific Ocean to the United States where we visited Disneyland Resort and New York City.
Our arrival into Anaheim coincided with the Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary and the resort was buzzing with activity and excitement and we had so much fun we didn’t want to leave !!

As we ventured into Manhattan we were amazed by the sounds and sights that this incredible city offers. It was such an incredible stay.

Highlights included the Empire State Building, Central Park, Times Square, a Broadway Show and the Statue of Liberty. One afternoon we ventured out to Citifield Stadium in Flushing to experience a major league baseball match. It was truly a trip to remember.

Our next Grand Adventure is planned for May 2026. Destination Paris!!

Tasmania was a recent destination of ours, in particular the ruggedly beautiful North West coast.
Our journey began with an overnight sailing on the Spirit of Tasmania before arriving into Devonport. Our week was spent visiting historic sites, exploring the beautiful Tarkine Wilderness, standing at the “Edge of the World” and braving the chairlift ride to the top of the Nut, a unique natural wonder.

It was an amazing week that our lovely travellers greatly enjoyed.
