J&D Supports – This Is Our Why 💙✨

J&D Supports is proudly run and operated by Justin & Danielle (that’s the J & D 😉).

But behind the name is a story.

Justin grew up battling anxiety and agoraphobia. He knows what it feels like to sit on the sidelines. To feel overwhelmed. To want to join in but not know how. That experience didn’t break him — it built him. 💪
It gave him a vision: create a place where people feel safe, supported, understood and never judged.

Danielle grew up quiet, living with social anxiety. Speaking up wasn’t easy. Being seen wasn’t easy. But since starting J&D alongside Justin, she has been slowly breaking those barriers — one conversation, one program, one brave step at a time. 🌱✨

And then there’s our biggest teachers… our children. ❤️

As parents raising children with disabilities, ADHD, global developmental delay and autism, we truly understand how hard it can be.
The therapies.
The school meetings.
The meltdowns.
The advocating.
The exhaustion.
The fierce love.

We know the tears behind closed doors.
We know the worry.
We know the strength it takes to keep showing up every single day. 💙

That’s why J&D Supports isn’t “just a business.”

It’s personal.
It’s lived.
It’s built from experience.
It’s built from love. ❤️

Every program, every shift, every group, every event — it all comes from a place of understanding.

It doesn’t matter how long it takes to reach your goal — what matters is that you keep pushing forward.

We’ve officially completed our very first Short Term Respite (STR) in our building, and what an incredible week it was with our amazing participant 🎉

He absolutely loved testing out our disco lights and smoke machines ✨💨, making his grand entrances as his favourite WWE wrestler, Kane 🔥💪 The smiles, excitement, and confidence were amazing to see 😄

We also enjoyed a trip to Adelaide 🚗 where he had a fantastic time at Timezone 🎮 and went to the movies 🎬 to watch Zootopia 2. It was a week full of fun, laughter, and great memories ❤️

It was truly a pleasure having him in our care, and we are so proud to provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable space for our participants 🏡

This is just the beginning, and we look forward to many more unforgettable Short Term Respite experiences at J&D Supports 🌟
