Yesterday I meant to film some behind-the-scenes from our PD session…
Butttttt we went so deep into conversation that I completely forgot to press record 😂

What was supposed to be a quick team chat turned into something much more powerful.

We didn’t just set surface-level goals.
We dug in. We stretched.
I gave the girls permission to dream bigger, to speak things out loud that maybe they hadn’t even admitted to themselves yet.

I asked them to push their goals out further — beyond the obvious, beyond what felt “safe,” and into the version of life they’d actually want if fear and self-doubt weren’t part of the equation.

Because setting goals isn’t just a January thing.
It’s not about having a to-do list for the sake of productivity.

It’s about having direction.
Something that keeps you grounded on the flat days, and something that pulls you forward when motivation dips.

At The Mind & Body Club, we don’t just tick boxes or teach classes.

This value is the heartbeat of what we do.

Because movement isn’t just something we tick off.
It’s something we connect to.

When we say “Move with Purpose,” we’re not talking about the perfect workout or hitting every PB.
We’re talking about tuning into your body.
Rebuilding trust with it.
Moving not to shrink, but to strengthen.
Not to punish, but to empower.

Some days, purpose looks like showing up and lifting heavy.
Other days, it looks like breathing through the basics.
Both matter. Both move you forward.

She almost didn’t sign up.

She told herself she’d “probably quit like everything else.”
She was exhausted. Not just physically — but mentally drained from always putting everyone else first.
Kids. Work. The never-ending list.
Her body didn’t feel like hers anymore. Confidence? Gone.
She’d tried the bootcamps, the gym memberships, the random YouTube workouts at home.
None of it stuck.

But then she walked through the doors at The Club.

And something felt different.

There was no pressure to perform.
No eyes scanning her up and down.
No toxic “bounce back” talk.
Just women — real women — doing the work. Not for punishment. But for power.

The instructors knew her name. The members gave her high fives. And every class felt like a step back to herself.
Now? She’s nearly 100 classes deep. And here’s what she said in her own words:

“The atmosphere here is truly special…
A non-judgmental space where comparison fades and the only focus is progress.
I’m more energised. I’m playing with my kids again. I feel confident in my skin — and yes, even around my husband after baby #2.
I genuinely believe if I hadn’t taken that first step… I wouldn’t be who I am today.”

Please join us in giving a massive CONGRATULATIONS to our incredible June Member of the Month — Whitney!
Whitney has been with us from the very beginning — back when The Mind & Body Club was just Chels doing one-on-ones from home. She’s seen it all, stuck with it, and continues to show up with the kind of consistency, heart, and humility that truly inspires everyone around her.
She’s not just committed — she leads by example. She walks in with quiet determination, always gives her best, and is always up for some fun along the way 🙌🏼

Whitney, you represent everything we stand for at the club: grit, grace, and growth.

🖤 How did you feel before, during & after your first class? 
Before my first Pilates class, I felt nervous I wasn’t sure what to expect and didn’t feel very coordinated. During class, I started to get the hang of things a little bit, and my confidence slowly grew as I followed the movements.
After few sessions, I found my rhythm, and now I love it! It’s become such a rewarding part of my routine.

🖤 How have you found your experience at the club so far?
It’s such an uplifting, welcoming space not just for physical fitness, but for overall wellbeing. The atmosphere, support, and energy make it a place I genuinely look forward to being in.

🖤 What is your favourite class you have been to?
I always love a good strength class & stretch classes are so nice to unwind for the week. However, the Thursday athletics classes are staring to climb the ranks 🥵 so…. I really can’t choose 😂

🖤What is your favourite exercise you have tried?
A flying kick, always 

🖤 Would you recommend the club to others? I would 100% recommend The Mind & Body club to anyone. I think we’re incredibly lucky to have Chelsea and the girls provide such a supportive and inspiring community.

Last week’s member of the week was Brydie 🤎

Brydie has been coming to the club since the middle of last year and she has made some awesome progress on the reformer through that time 🙌🏼 She has progressed through to heavier weights, tried harder layers and is a lot more confident on the reformer, and now is coming to classes more - which we love! 😍 It has been great to be apart of her journey along the way, Brydie is a very valued and positive member in our community 🫶🏻✨✨

🌙 How did you feel before, during & after your first class?
I was a little nervous/excited before my first class because it was something new and I was going by myself. I think I felt a bit more comfortable as I knew people who had went before and loved it. During the class there I felt a bit awkward and uncoordinated but Chels provided lots of support where needed and encouragement. I also went in with the mindset of just having a go and learning to use the machine rather than focusing on weights. After the class I was feeling proud of myself for giving it a go!

🌙 How have you found your experience at the club so far?
I have loved my experience at the club so far! A very encouraging and welcoming environment. It’s nice having that 45-minutes just for me and working with where I am at on that day.

Feet in straps is always a fav!

🌙 Would you recommend the club to others?
I would recommend The Mind & Body Club to everyone! It has been more than just an opportunity to move my body, it has helped me to feel more confident and positive.
