At EMpower Pathways, we want to take a moment to acknowledge something so many people live with every day disabilities that can’t always be seen.
Invisible disabilities can look like chronic pain, anxiety, autism, fatigue, sensory differences, or mental health challenges, and they are just as real and just as deserving of understanding and support.

We see you.
We believe you.
And we’re walking beside you.

Every day, we meet incredible people navigating life with strength, courage, and resilience often without the world realising how hard they’re working just to get through the day. This week is a reminder to pause, listen, and show compassion.

-Be kind you never know what someone is carrying.
-Believe people when they share their story.
- Advocate for inclusion that goes beyond what’s visible.

🎄 Inclusive Christmas Party, A Celebration for All! 🎅

Join us for a joyful day of fun, laughter, and connection at our Inclusive Christmas Party created especially for the disability community, families, and carers.

✨ This event is all about giving back, sharing smiles, and being surrounded by people who truly see you.

📅 Date: Sunday 30th November
🕙 Time: 10:00am – 3:00pm
📍 Location: Port Pirie softball grounds, Kingston Road.

This day is open to everyone, not just EMpower Pathways participants but the wider community too!
Come along with your family, friends, and supports for a day filled with:
🎁 A visit from Santa & Mrs Claus with A Present for all.
🐰 Petting zoo
🎨 Indoor & outdoor activities
🍿 Snacks and refreshments
💖 All ages welcome, there’s something for everyone!

Let’s come together to celebrate inclusion, connection, and the spirit of giving.

🌏 World Mental Health Day October 10th

Today we pause to recognise the importance of mental health, for every person, every story, and every journey.
In our work as disability support workers, we see first-hand the strength it takes to face daily challenges, and we know that sometimes, what makes the biggest difference is simply having someone who listens.

Our door, inbox, and ears are always open. Whether you need to talk, ask for support, or just be heard 💙 you’re not alone. Reaching out is a sign of courage, not weakness.

Meet Our “What’s the Buzz” Facilitators
Aysha & Grace 💜

We are excited to introduce Aysha and Grace, our wonderful facilitators for the What’s the Buzz program!

What’s the Buzz is a fun, evidence-based social and emotional skills program designed for children and young people.
Targeting:
•Building friendships
•Managing emotions
•Problem-solving and teamwork
•Communicating with confidence

We are now taking referrals for our upcoming group programs.
Suitable for ages 5–16 years
Delivered in small group sessions at our hub
16 week program- for self & plan managed Participants.

Meet Dempsey AKA Demi.... a kid with big dreams, a big heart and so much creativity... Dempsey LOVES craft and all things hands on, Dempsey doesn't so much like getting ready, so we combined both of these things Into her first book, Please support her and show her that all ways of thinking are amazing, $8 per book all money goes directly to Demi 🥰

Can't beat em' join them!
Emmalee, Zeta, Jenna and Saidi had a fantastic time making floss, bookmarks and keyrings at the inclusive fun day at Midnorth Education Centre, another wonderful day that feels so uplifting to be apart of, well done MNEC.
