We are not to blame when our words, actions, behaviour hurts another person if it comes from a good place. That doesn’t mean we are unaccountable. We are absolutely accountable and in understanding and holding that power, we can shift our interactions with that person.

it means you can still breathe

and if you can still breathe
it means you are still alive

and if you are still alive
it means you still have
some work to do

~ so go ahead and
cry for a bit

~ each tear is proof
of your survival

~ each jagged breath you take
is evidence of your courage

~ you may be
wounded

~ you may be
discounted

but you are still here

~ and somedays simply
still being here despite what
the world has done to you

is a miracle

they are your badges
of salty valor

On this evening of the full moon, consider the opportunities we are given to just shine our light, at any given time, simply because our light is magnificent.

It requires less energy to shine than it does to shun. And when we do, the results divinely pe*****te our own being as well as those around us, impacted directly or indirectly.

Our song is the culmination of all the people and all the places, all the circumstances and all the emotions we’ve ever experienced. It’s a life time of memories. It’s the reminder of a life lived. You are the answer. You are love Advice from María Sabina, Mexican healer and poet - “Heal yourself with the light of the sun and the rays of the moon. With the sound of the river and the waterfall. With the swaying of the sea and the fluttering of birds. Heal yourself with mint, neem, and eucalyptus. Sweeten with lavender, rosemary, and chamomile. Hug yourself with the cocoa bean and a hint of cinnamon. Put love in tea instead of sugar and drink it looking at the stars. Heal yourself with the kisses that the wind gives you and the hugs of the rain. Stand strong with your bare feet on the ground and with everything that comes from it. Be smarter every day by listening to your intuition, looking at the world with your forehead. Jump, dance, sing, so that you live happier.
