Introducing Lymphatic Health and Wellness by Kristy

Hello everyone! My name is Kristy, and I’m a registered nurse currently working at Portland District Health three days a week as the Cancer Nurse Coordinator in the consulting suite. For the past six years, I’ve specialised in cancer support and breast care nursing, and during this time I’ve developed a strong passion for supporting people living with lymphoedema — a common side effect of cancer treatments and surgery.

I’m excited to share that I have recently completed my training and am now accredited with the ALA as a Lymphoedema Practitioner. I’m able to provide manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) and offer these services locally.

In the near future, I plan to introduce a SOZO machine to support early detection and provide a gold star standard lymphoedema prevention program.

I currently offer lymphoedema support services two days a week, including:

🦋 Lower limb bio-compression pump therapy
