Steve was a young Registered Nurse/Paramedic. Tragically killed in NSW this morning. He got married last month and his second baby is due next month. A tragic loss.

On the 14th of April we learnt of the tragic news that Madison's partner was killed… Adam McKaig needs your support for Support for Madison and her family

Once a nurse.....

...always a nurse? Not necessarily, but we have so many qualities to take into other careers and roles. We just don’t always realise it.

I’m an RN of 30+ years, a single mum of 4 almost-flying-the-nest kids and now it’s time for me. Nursing is all I’ve known but now I’ve branched out. I’ve taken a long journey to understand how I can use my skills in other jobs. I’ve also learned that I need to take care of myself-I learned that lesson late!

This page is for nurses who are thinking of a carer change, nurses who are ready to change careers and nurses who no longer practice. We’re united in nursing-it’s more than a job, it is all consuming so let’s unite!
