This weekend - only a couple of tickets left!⁠

🤍Nurture & Restore - A Pregnancy & Postpartum Workshop🤍⁠

Join Balance North physiotherapists Pauline Lai, maternal and pelvic health specialist, and Grace Ure for an informative and practical workshop to support you through every stage of pregnancy and early motherhood.⁠

You’ll learn about pelvic anatomy and how your body changes during pregnancy, safe ways to stay active before and after birth, the importance of pelvic floor exercises, and common pre and postnatal conditions with practical management tips.⁠

The session includes 30 minutes of guided reformer and mat movement to gently apply what you’ve learned, followed by a Q&A with our physios. Light refreshments provided.⁠

We are excited to welcome Aneesa to the pilates team here at BN!⁠

You may have seen Aneesa covering classes over the past couple of months, and we’re so excited to now have her on our permanent schedule.⁠

Aneesa began her career in group fitness before discovering reformer pilates and realising it was the missing piece in her own training journey. That experience inspired her to complete her certifications, and she now coaches reformer pilates, group fitness and personal training.⁠

She is passionate about helping people build strength, improve balance and move with confidence. Her approach is supportive and encouraging, with a strong focus on quality movement and creating an environment where clients feel capable, challenged and empowered.⁠

You can catch Aneesa every second Sunday from the 1st of March. Bookings can be made via Mindbody 🫧⁠

We are excited to welcome Harpy to the psychology team here at BN! ⁠

Harpy is a registered psychologist currently completing her registrar program toward clinical endorsement. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and a Master of Psychology (Clinical).⁠

Warm, compassionate and open-minded, Harpy supports clients to move toward goals that feel meaningful, while considering the broader context of their lives, including relationships, health and personal experiences.⁠

She has worked with children, adolescents, adults and older adults across public health and education settings, supporting presentations such as anxiety, depression, perfectionism, emotion regulation difficulties, trauma, attachment challenges and adjustment to medical conditions.⁠

Harpy draws on ACT, CBT and EMDR, tailoring therapy to each client’s pace and needs. She is passionate about creating a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel understood, supported and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.⁠
