At The Australian Soap Kitchen we proudly make handcrafted, all-natural, vegan, palm oil-free, eco-friendly, skin nourishing soap. Our soap is 100% free of sulphates, parabens, synthetic colours, synthetic fragrances and put simply any nasty chemicals. Moreover, our soap is lovingly made in Melbourne with local and certified organic ingredients where possible.

We often get comments about how even the most sensitive of skin feels so good with our soaps, especially when it comes to shaving 😊

We are currently slowly moving into production mode and we shall be dropping posts here and there along the way whilst we get fully up and running.

Hello our lovely followers & customers! We have been a little quite on our socials as of late.

We have been busy creating in and around lockdowns and we are so happy to share our latest post with you all about some, yes some, of the nasties regularly found in soap & wash products!! These nasty chemicals have been linked with health concerns such as cancer and reproductive issues, skin problems such as eczema, asthma, hormone disrupting to name a few!

We invite you to go ahead and check the ingredients for the soap you are currently using to see of any of these feature. You may very well be surprised especially if you think you are using a "natural"soap.

Natural + Organic Soap

At The Australian Soap Kitchen our focus is to use only the finest and purist ingredients, and simply produce natural, organic, vegan, palm oil-free, earth-conscious, skin-loving and nourishing soap.

Our range is inspired by Australian flora. Therefore, we use Australian sourced and made ingredients from Australian producers, and only seek non-Australian alternatives in the event where a local ingredient is unavailable. We feel it is important to support fellow Australian businesses and farmers, and by sourcing locally, ‘ingredient miles’ is kept at a minimum. This is our way of respecting, cherishing and celebrating the wonderful resources we have in Australia, and also do our part in looking after our ever-giving earth. Moreover, we incorporate certified organic ingredients where possible.

The process we use to make our soaps is that of the traditional cold-pressed method. This allows for the goodness in all the ingredients incorporated into our soaps, to be retained as much as possible. Our soaps are handcrafted. This means that all of our soaps are made in small batches and are hand mixed, poured and cut. The resulting product – no two pieces of soap are the same!
