AGAPI Care provides a wide range of support to individuals and families across the "whole of life" continuum. AGAPI Care's goals are to enable, support and encourage people to participate fully and equally within the community, creating various pathways and opportunities of their choice. Our aim is to support people to reach their goals and aspirations: our disability support services give us the opportunity to do this. AGAPI Care's disability support services are flexible, creative and recognise the uniqueness and diversity of all individuals. We operate across three Melbourne metropolitan regions - Eastern, Southern and North-West.

AGAPI Care’s Treasurer and Head of the National Launch, Mr Alex Panagiotopoulos, addressed attendees about the vital role of the Committee of Management in ensuring strong governance, transparency, and strategic direction. In particular, he spoke about his responsibility in overseeing the organisation’s clinical governance framework, ensuring that all services are delivered safely, ethically, and in line with best-practice standards.
Mr Panagiotopoulos stated we were honoured to launch AGAPI Care in Darwin, noting the region’s growing demand for high-quality disability and aged care services, as well as the opportunity to build strong partnerships within the local community.

On Friday 20 February 2026 and Saturday 21 February 2026, AGAPI Care proudly hosted two highly successful Information Nights in Darwin, welcoming community members, stakeholders, and prospective participants eager to learn more about the organisation’s services and future plans.
During the events, AGAPI Care’s Chief Executive Officer, Ms Mary Gakopoulos, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the organisation’s history, vision, and mission. She highlighted AGAPI Care’s commitment to providing person-centred, culturally responsive, and high-quality support services. Ms Gakopoulos detailed the broad range of programs delivered through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and My Aged Care, explaining how these services are designed to empower individuals, promote independence, and enhance quality of life for people living with disability and older Australians.

I would like to sincerely thank our Chief Executive Officer Ms Mary Gakopoulos, the President of the organisation Mr Arthur Evriniadis, and all team members for their trust, support, and confidence in me. A special thank you to our Chief Operating Officer Mrs Ange Pilipasidis for the trust she has placed in me and for consistently going above and beyond in her leadership and support.
