Why do house fires often start in the kitchen?
In this Episode 3 highlight of Outreach, Tim shares why the kitchen is one of the most common sources of house fires and how simple, everyday habits can quickly become dangerous.
From paper towels left too close to stovetops to candles or incense near curtains, small oversights can lead to serious consequences.
The good news is that most house fires are preventable.
Tim also highlights the importance of clear fire safety planning, especially for people with disabilities who may need additional support understanding alarms and emergency responses.
