The residents were filled with joy and anticipation as they participated in the Whitsunday Reef Festival on Saturday, proudly taking part in the parade. We sincerely want to express our deep appreciation to Whitsunday Transit for granting this wonderful opportunity to the residents of Proserpine Nursing Home. This experience meant so much to them and brought a smile to their faces.

I’d like to share some heartwarming photos and videos of our residents participating in yesterday’s delightful activity called ‘beating the drums.’

The residents of Proserpine Nursing Home have experienced a heartwarming couple of weeks filled with meaningful moments. They participated in two delightful sessions of Art for the Ages alongside beautiful children and their parents, which brought joy and connection. Creative art activities in the garden also provided opportunities for expression and reflection.
In addition to these activities, the residents found joy in singing with The Coral C Singers and the wonderful Jigz Singers, as well as their time with Irene's choir, bringing music and smiles to their days. The gentle practice of Tai Chi offered a soothing way for them to relax and find peace.
A lovely High Tea provided a special chance for the residents to connect and catch up with one another. During Happy Hour, they gathered to reminisce and sing along to cherished old favorites, creating a warm atmosphere filled with laughter and nostalgia.
