We are so proud to announce that
Dr Sibanda is the well deserved recipient of this prestigious RACGP award for 2025!

Dr Sibanda’s diverse expertise comes from a career of over 35 years in various fields of medicine.

He not only works tirelessly in general practice but also supports rural hospitals and rural emergency doctors via virtual services 4-5 sessions per month.

Dr Sibanda’s career started in Zimbabwe. He works an extra session each fortnight with revenue donated to support children and orphans in Zimbabwe through the Aid For Africa Down Under organisation.

Dr Sibanda was very humbled and thanked the RACGP for the great honour in receiving the award. He also said that it is a privilege to care for people at their most vulnerable and thanked all patients who entrust our State’s general practitioners to care for them.

The Hindmarsh Bowden Health and Fitzroy Medical Clinic teams are so proud of Godfrey and his achievements.

Congratulations Dr Sibanda!
