St Nicholas Seniors Care Centre were blessed with the presence of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios.

On Renewal Friday and Theotokos of the Life-Giving Spring, on the 10th of May His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios presided over the first Divine Liturgy service in the Chapel dedicated to the Theotokos of the Life-Giving Spring. Many of the residents and family members who joined the celebration were holistically cared for by being nourished and encouraged physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios delivered spiritual insight on the story and icon of the Theotokos of the Life-Giving Spring.

At the conclusion, His Eminence gifted each resident and family member with a small traditional sweet for the festive season.

St Nicholas Seniors Care Centre were grateful to have His Eminence present to celebrate the Life-Giving feast.

“O Theotokos, your church is like the Garden of Paradise, since it pours out healings and cures like ever-living rivers. We come to it with faith, and we draw strength and eternal life from its water, through you who are the Spring that received Life Himself…”

The Life Giving Spring - our chapel is now officially open 🙏 We were joined by Fr. Ephraim for prayer today, and we are so excited to use our chapel for future services, prayers and feast days.

🧁✨ Here at SNSCC, we’re always looking for new activities that we know our residents will love! Many of our residents used to bake at home all the time, so why not spend the day making some delicious cup cakes! They had a great time and of course, they turned out yummy!✨🧁
