Birmingham Oncology convention this year was held on 15&16 September in Birmingham NEC. The convention main goal is to advance clinical oncology and lifesaving research.
A key aspect of this convention is the seminar program. These seminars were provided by a range of experienced speakers, each of them from a different part of cancer-care process, but all of them united in their goal to provide the best outcomes for people with cancer. Speakers include surgeons who have experience in eliminating tumours, technical experts who are developing new technologies for the treatment of first-line tumors and health care providers who help maintain patient’s well-being before, during and after treatment.

Micurae has entered into collaboration with Circle Harmony to provide 2nd Opinion and International Tele-consultation to our clients. Circle Harmony Shanghai is supported by HCA health UK to provide its expertise in oncology assessment and treatments.

Reflecting how advances in technology are creating new ways to provide access to care and expertise in the international market, the partnership will enable Micurae patients to have virtual consultations, and have their case reviewed by HCA UK consultants or specialists from Shanghai tertiary hospitals via virtual multidisciplinary team meetings.

The partnership also extends to provision of treatment in the UK and access to medicines that are not available in country, thus enabling Micurae, Circle Harmony and HCA UK to offer patients access to full care pathways that they may not have otherwise had access to.

Micurae Collaborating with Penguin Almond Clinic (Xi’an)

From April 13, 2020, the Penguin Almond Group Xi’an Surgery Center will also become the eighth day surgical centre of the Penguin Almond Group (Tencent) after Shenyang, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing.

The day surgical centre signed a contract to reach strategic cooperation with Micurae, filling the gap in the group’s northwestern region.

Xi’an Surgery Centre is located in the High-tech Zone of Xi’an, covering an area of ​​more than 2,000 square meters. It is wholly owned and built by Penguin Almond Group. It is currently the largest operation center under the Penguin Almond Group. The visiting doctors come from major public hospitals and contracted with all well-known doctor group.
