It’s always fun when we get to meet new additions to the family. Lisa went out to visit Alyssa-Jane and to her surprise also met Scarlet the new puppy. So very cute!
For many people living with disability, having a puppy isn’t just about companionship. It can be life-changing. Dogs provide emotional support, help reduce anxiety, encourage routine, and bring a powerful sense of comfort and connection.
They can motivate us to get outside, build social confidence, and offer unconditional love on the hard days. Whether they’re assistance dogs or just loyal sidekicks, their impact is truly special.
And let’s be honest… those puppy cuddles don’t hurt either. 🐾
