Group activities - Wednesday 9th July Werribee Zoo

We experienced a fantastic day at the zoo today. Fortunately, the expected rain did not occur and our plans remained uninterrupted.

There were intermittent sightings of the sun 😎

Never to late to join us on our next activities. Email us on info@ontimedisabilitysupport.com.au for more info.

The Boys U16 White showed just how powerful they can be when they make great connections in their attacking and defensive play. They came away with a 61-44 win against a formidable Heathdale Hornets Pledge team. Keep up the outstanding team work boys! 👏

A client of ours has participated in the All Abilities Netball Tournament on Sunday.

Their team achieved one victory from five matches, scoring at least one goal in every game.

Adam's contribution as the team's primary goal scorer was exceptional.

Individuals interested in participating in All Abilities Netball every Saturday during the school term should contact our team at info@ontimedisabilitysupport.com.au or 1300 034 146 for details and transportation arrangements.

Further information and contact details for Wyndham Netball are available at https://wyndhamnetball.com.au/allabilitiesnetball/.

Changes affecting all NDIS participants.
21/05/2025

Changes affecting all NDIS participants.

We’re introducing changes gradually from this week to help participants more easily manage their budgets.

We had feedback from participants, who have told us that receiving all their funding at the start of their plan can make budgeting hard – increasing the risk of overspending or running out of funds.

So, what is changing? Well, from 19 May 2025, different funding periods will be slowly introduced to all new or reassessed plans.

Funding periods will now usually be set at three-months – rather than 12-months – to give participants flexibility and to help participants manage their budgets.

If a participant’s situation changes and they need more or different supports, they can request a change to their plan. They won't be left without the supports needed but it’s important for participants to ask for help early, before funds run out.

This change doesn’t change the total amount of funding in a participant’s plan, only when the funding becomes available.

The NDIA will have a discussion with participants about their circumstances. We will do this as part of getting their new or reassessed plan. If they don't need a new plan, there are no changes right now.

We’ll also be providing support and information during this transition.
