Homelessness Week 2025

Following our recent Forum on the Hidden Stories of the Women's Housing Crisis in partnership with Gender Equity Victoria, we are sharing some take out quotes from our panelists throughout Homelessness Week.

Tanya Corrie CEO, Juno also shared. "We too often require too many victim-survivors to disclose all of their trauma before they are offered housing support, rather than seeing it as a basic human right. The system has to change and if it does, we can end homelessness in Australia."

Let’s amplify their voices - share to help spread awareness.💜

Homelessness Week 2025

Following our recent Forum on the Hidden Stories of the Women's Housing Crisis in partnership with Gender Equity Victoria, we’ll be sharing powerful quotes from our panelists throughout the week.

Andrea Levey from Aboriginal Housing Victoria also shared. "Despite the trauma of colonisation and ongoing systemic exclusion, Aboriginal women continue to show extraordinary resilience. Ending homelessness means listening to their voices, investing in Aboriginal-led housing pathways, and ensuring women and children can remain safe, connected, and supported."

Let’s amplify their voices—make people feel uncomfortable to make the changes needed.

Share to help spread awareness.💜

Homelessness Week 2025 starts today.

This national campaign raises awareness of homelessness across Australia and calls on all of us to be part of the solution.

Following our recent Forum on the Hidden Stories of the Women's Housing Crisis in partnership with Gender Equity Victoria, we’ll be sharing powerful quotes from our panelists throughout the week.

Some are deeply personal, often unheard experiences of housing insecurity and homelessness, like today's from Diana Connell a Lived Experience Survivor.

Let’s amplify their voices—make people feel uncomfortable to make the changes needed.

Share to help spread awareness. 💜
