Feeling very inspired with the completion of my beginners Abelton course with
It was such an amazing experience learning deep into music production, well.. really just the surface! I must admit I was nervous and didn’t know how I’d go, or what to expect with technical capabilities. Sometimes we surprise ourselves with the impossible to achieve when thrown in the deep end of learning.. there’s so much vulnerability absorbing new information and learning of a new skills and pathways… however, something has definitely struck a chord 😅

Thank you for your amazing facilitation and laffs 🤣 I felt like I was back in high school music class again!! Such a wonderful crew!!

As I reflect on this experience I look back on a full 20 year cycle 💫 Remembering high school life and almost forgetting that when I completed school in 2005 I did a music technical production certificate and It’s just so interesting how things come back round again.

When I was in high school, I’d spend most of the time in class listening to my Discman then fitting into the social norm that was being fed. I was obsessed with The Chemical Brothers and would play them on repeat I didn’t go any further learning music, however, dabbling in bass and coming in and out of playing the flute that began at 15 years old I think! I loved skateboarding, metal music and eventually lead onto breakbeats and psychedelic music.. the rest is history… kinda!

As I’ve grown and become connected to music and movement in so many different ways, I see how music weaves to other parts of my life.. my expression, yoga, dance, DJing, death, grief, rebirths, letting go… all of which have taught me about flow, movement, and presence, it just feels like the natural progression to be stepping into this world with a fresh new lense and a voice to be shared through sound.

These experiences have deepened my understanding of music.. it allows my expression to come through authentically and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next! Feeling more aligned and inspired than ever for what’s ahead
