Poor David had loads of mosquito bites last night while outside putting the chickens and ducks away.
I applied my favourite tallow cream, the Intensive Moisture Restore Tallow Cream (previously called Ultra Moisture All in One Face and Body Cream). The itch stopped immediately!
This is what it looks like today. No bumps, no itch, no marks, no problem! 😍
Also excellent for dry skin, eczema and psoriasis, aging skin, sunburnt skin and many many more.

We are running around madly trying to get the house and the animals ready for our house-sitter before we leave. Wish us all the best! 😵💫
I still manage to squeeze in some time to formulate my favourite cream, the Ultra Moisture All-in-One Face and Body cream.
Except... I've now called it something else. It's such an amazing product I think it deserves a better name. One that doesn't devalue its worth. It's great for so many things, dry and ageing skin, eczema, psoriasis, insect bites, after sun, heel balm and so many more.
It's now called 'Intensive Moisture Restore Tallow Cream' and it's now in red.

Okay.... I'm overdue sharing some formulating photos.
I've finally had the time to stock up our best-selling anti-aging serum. It's 3 months in the making.
We will be travelling overseas from tomorrow for a while so will be bringing these back home to where I came from as gifts for family and friends.

Hi guys
Made this video a few years ago on how to make your own grounding sheet with just 4 materials. It's too good not to share.
As many of you would know, grounding is one of the amazing ways to detox yourself from electromagnetic fields. And the energy from the ground allows your body to do what it is created to do... heal.
If you don't walk barefoot outside much, it's worth grounding yourself while you sleep and if you can't afford to buy one (it's very expensive) think about making one inexpensively.

Made a very bold move today. Painted one of my Tessa leather armchair bright blue! Check out the last photo showing what it used to look like.
I love the result. 1 base coat, 2 colour coats, whoala!
The leather still feels soft and supple with a bit of shine. You won't know it's been painted.
What do you think?
I have 4 more of these armchairs but most likely won't do all of them blue. A little too overpowering.

I can proudly say... The reno for this big hallway/not-sure-what-to-do-with-it room is now 95% complete. A few cupboard doors to install and we are done!
It's been turned into an EVERYTHING room - a music room, a computer room, a mini library, a 3rd lounge, a pantry, a mud room and still functioning as a hallway to access the remaining part the house.
There are sooo many doors in this room we just didn't know what to do with it at first. Every single wall has doors with very little wall space.
We've (by we, I meant getting our builder and our handyman to do the work...) since built a pantry at the corner at the entrance, a mud cupboard (a pretty one) on the other side to create a little welcoming entryway, painted the 4 walls white, installed a skylight, change the white light bulbs to warm yellow ones, installed a wall of bookcases for a mini library, created a nook for the computer desk, and a cosy space with an armchair, rug and a coffee table to make it an inviting space for the children to sit down and read a book...
I am very pleased with the results so far...
For the first time, I really enjoy hanging out in this space.

How are you all?
After 2 years of living in the country with ongoing renos, by 3 different builders/carpenters, we've finally got to the kids' room.
We've turned the old massive commercial kitchen (this place used to be run as a tea house) into 4 spaces - a shared bathroom, a bedroom and a walk-in-robe and a master ensuite bathroom. So far, we've done the shared bathroom and the kids' bedroom.
The only regret I have is that we haven't taken enough before pictures! Everything is so messy all the time I just didn't think to take any picture.

I had read about the toxic chemicals and preservatives in baby care products, and I was adamant not use them on my baby. Searching the internet I found many amazing DIY recipes which inspired me to embark on a DIY journey by making my own organic personal and baby care products. It has been a steep learning curve but I have never looked back.

Talking about ‘aqua’ you will find almost all your favourite skincare brands (even the natural and organic ones) have ‘aqua’ as the first ingredient on the list. This means that water is the main ingredient for the product. And with water, there must be preservatives, otherwise bacteria will grow and thrive. So potentially you are paying a fortune for glorified water, some other long list of ingredients PLUS preservatives!
Worse still, if you happen to have a skin reaction, you will struggle find out which ingredients are the culprit under the very long list of ingredients. Don’t worry, I’ve been there... I used to think I have oily skin due to the pimples and acne so I would buy heavily ‘watered’ down moisturisers, only to end up with more pimples and acne. Never again! Now I just slap on pure tallow with olive oil plus vitamin E, my skin is glowing. No pimples or acne!
