Why do we keep having the same arguments?

Most conflicts aren’t really about what they seem.
They’re not about logic—they’re about longing to be seen, heard, and valued.

💔 Blame may be hiding helplessness.
🧠 Control may be protecting us from chaos.
😠 Anger may be covering pain.
And sometimes… we don’t even know what we truly feel underneath it all.

This post isn’t here to fix you—
It’s here to gently remind you that your reactions have roots.
And healing begins when we’re willing to pause… and look closer.

🖌️ Try the exercise at the end if words feel too hard.

I haven’t posted for a while, and maybe you haven’t checked in with yourself for a while either. Life gets busy.
And sometimes… life gets unpredictable.

We face challenges we didn’t see coming — illness, loss, war, responsibilities, or just the deep exhaustion that comes from holding too much for too long. In those moments, we often forget ourselves.
We go into survival mode.
We stop creating.
We stop reflecting.
We even stop liking ourselves — because our minds are tired, and our hearts feel far away.

But you don’t need to be okay to begin again.
You don’t need to fix everything before you return to yourself.

If you’re reading this, this is your moment.
Not to push. Not to catch up.
But simply to continue from here.
Even a breath counts. Even a pause with intention is a beginning.

💛 Take a deep breath. You’re not behind. You’re still on your path.
And I’m here, gently walking back too.

Not everything that transforms us is loud.
Some of the most powerful changes begin with the smallest rhythms.
A breath.
A morning walk.
A cup of tea.
A gentle return to something that brings you peace.

These rhythms don’t ask for motivation.
They ask for presence.

🌿 Swipe through to explore calming rhythms that can bring you back to yourself—one small moment at a time.
🔖 Save this for the days you feel off track.
📩 Tag a friend who needs gentle encouragement.
💛 Share it with someone you care about.

We’ve been told we need motivation to begin.
But the truth? Motivation is like a sugar rush—sweet, intense, and short-lived.

One day it’s there.
The next day, it’s gone.
And then comes the guilt…
“Why can’t I stay consistent?”
“What’s wrong with me?”

But maybe nothing is wrong.
Maybe we’ve just been chasing the wrong thing.

“You will never always be motivated, so you must learn to be disciplined.”
— Unknown

Discipline sounds harsh, but I believe in something softer:
rhythm — a small habit, a gentle routine, a return to why you started.

✨ Why do you want to feel stronger?
✨ Why do you want to finish that book, pick up the brush, go for that walk?

Find your why — then create a rhythm around it.
Not because you feel like it.
But because it’s a quiet promise to yourself.

You don’t need motivation to start.
You need rhythm to keep going.
And rhythm is LOVE in motion.

👇 What’s one small rhythm that keeps you grounded—even on the hard days?

We all carry things that aren’t ours.
The pressure to be strong. The fear of letting people down.
The quiet belief that our feelings are “too much.”

But the truth is — you were never too much.
You were just never taught how to tend to your inner world with love.

That’s what therapy offers:
Not fixing, but softening.
Not escaping, but returning.

If this resonates, maybe it’s time to begin✨♥️

Self-care isn’t just about nails, spas, or candles — though those are lovely.
Sometimes, self-care is sitting with your feelings.
Understanding your patterns.
Letting yourself heal.

Therapy is self-care too —
the kind that nourishes your inner world.

You’re allowed to choose both. ✨♥️

Knowing yourself isn’t something you “achieve.”
It’s something you grow into — gently, layer by layer.

Each step reveals a little more of who you are.
Each challenge reflects something deeper.
And slowly… you begin to understand yourself not just with thoughts, but through feelings, patterns, and creative expression.

I’m still on this journey too.
I haven’t reached the summit — but I’m exploring, unfolding, and learning what it means to truly be me.
And the more I know myself, the more I grow in self-worth, self-trust, and self-love.

Through art therapy, I support others who are also walking this path.
Because the answers are often already within — we just need space to listen.

You don’t need to rush.
You just need to begin. ✨♥️

Are you also on a journey of self-discovery?

You smile. You cope. You keep going. But inside… it still feels like something’s missing.”

If you’ve been feeling a quiet kind of lost — like you’re doing everything right but can’t quite find yourself — you’re not alone.

In my art therapy sessions and retreats in Melbourne, we use painting, reflection, and presence to gently return home to who you are.

You don’t need to explain everything in words. You just need a space to feel.

Save this post if you ever need a moment to reconnect.

As the leaves fall, we are invited to let go too…
To slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect with what truly matters.

This Sunday, 4th of May, I’m hosting a cozy retreat in my backyard — a space to create, reflect, and embrace the quiet beauty of change.

If your heart feels called, I would love to share this day with you.
Message me to reserve your spot.

She thought she was just shy… but the swan she sculpted told a different story.”
In one of my sessions, a client who had just moved to a new country struggled to connect with strangers, despite being warm and talkative with close friends.
During an art therapy exercise, she sculpted this serene white swan on a heart-shaped leaf—an image that came to her mind unexpectedly.
Through gentle reflection, the swan revealed its message: grace, inner beauty, fluidity, and calm confidence.
Sometimes, our silence holds more strength than we realize.
Art can be a mirror to the parts of ourselves we overlook.

Have you ever created something that helped you understand yourself better?

Did you know that painting can actually lower cortisol, your body’s main stress hormone? 🎨✨ When stress levels rise, creativity can be a powerful tool to bring them back down. Studies show that engaging in art helps calm the nervous system, reduce tension, and promote relaxation. No artistic skills needed—just the freedom to express! Ready to experience the benefits?
