It’s been more than a decade since my admission to the Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the appointment of being a State Examiner NSW & National Examination Board from 2020-2023. This honorary position is not a bed of roses but a journey of sacrifice of time and commitment, even back to bring me down memory lane as a registrar, having to read the latest multiple volumes of thick textbooks of dermatology. I am proud that the Australasian College of Dermatologists has maintained the highest standards of excellence and professionalism of our young dermatologists with the support of the Fellows, Registrars and College Staff who have been involved in the process of the preparation, making the examination run smoothly and being the co-examiners. In addition, I learnt from this experience and made good friendships with the other State Examiners across the country. I sincerely would like to thank all who have contributed and without whom I would not have been able to do this in my tenure years. I would like to wish this year’s cohort of dermatology registrars best of luck for the upcoming final part of the College Exam, which will be held in August.
